Delicious food.
Small portions.
Everything I ordered required that I add rice or bread myself.
Plastic film on meals is difficult & messy to remove after cooking.

Really efficient and friendly service from the Brook and delivery went smoothly. I've tried one of the meals so far and it was delicious. Looking forward to the rest.

Pros
Tasty varied and interesting dishes.
Excellent delivery and communication.

Cons
For 1 meal, generous portion but a bit expensive.
For 2 meals it would be good value but the portions are not quite big enough.
Too many sauces which tend to mingle together on the plate.

So slightly bigger portions with fewer different sauces and it would be perfect.

Restaurant quality food that is both unique in taste and creativity. Uses dpd to ensure safe delivery. Sea food lovers menu was amazing.

What a wonderful experience!
The ordering process was brilliantly simple. I got the Tofish & Chips / 'Chicken' Chasseur box.

Delivery was great, DPD dropped the box off early in the morning in a safe and secure place so I could retrieve it without disrupting my morning which I really appreciated. Everything was well packaged and in perfect condition on arrival.

The portions for the tofish were pretty big, split between 2 there were more chips than we needed, but everything was so brilliantly prepared and the instructions to finish cooking/reheating worked perfectly. Taste wise, I would happily eat that every Friday forever, some of the best tofish I've had.

There was a small issue with the 'Chicken' Chasseur, only 1 portion was packed, but Trisha and the customer service team were so proactive in letting me know the situation and dealing with it that it was such a minor inconvenience that it didn't diminish from the dining experience at all. When served with the sides, there was still enough food for 2 good portions, it was so delicious and something I wouldn't have chosen from a menu, so a new experience too.

I'd definitely recommend The Brook's dining experiences and will be getting another, probably more than one, again in the future. It's a bit adventure, a lot delicious.

Asked DPD to leave in shed so not in direct sunlight but they didn't. Meals defrosted when I got home unfortunately. As some were still cold have been eating quickly so as not to waste. Meals themselves are tasty, portion sizes on the smaller side.

So far everything would be perfect apart from one meal I didn’t enjoy. My order was delivered within 36 hrs of placing it so very impressed.
I ordered an variety of different meals because it was my first order and I wanted to see what I liked/disliked. Everything is delicious (apart from the fish stew which I couldn’t finish). But it’s not a problem as I can easily adjust my next order.
If I had any real criticism, I would prefer to pay a little extra and have an bigger portion so I could share with my daughter rather than having to order two of the same.
But I am very happy so far and would definitely recommend.

The Tofish and Chips is epic! My pescatarian husband commented that the Tofish was ridiculously close to fish and that he would happily eat the Tofish over real fish any day. The portion sizes on this menu are huge and every single element was perfect - crispy, fluffy chips; flavoursome, flaky Tofish; beautifully seasoned mushy peas; sharp and tangy tartare sauce and fried capers for an extra salty hit. The Tofish is seriously to die for though and I really hope that at some point The Brook release these as freezer fillers because we would have a constant supply in our freezer as they are just so delectable!

The Chicken Chasseur is a lovely light Sunday lunch - beautifully creamy with all too realistic 'chicken' pieces, delicious buttery potatoes and charred tenderstem broccoli. I would recommend getting some crusty bread to mop up all those juices as they are far too good to waste!

A lovely weekend of feasting for two and for £12 per person, per meal for restaurant quality food this is an absolute bargain. I cannot recommend this menu highly enough - book the next one now, you won't regret it!

I'm really happy with the quality of the meals that the Brook delivers. Excellent value and variety. The BEST seafood casserole! Great flavours across all meals that I've tried so far. Responsive and helpful customer service. Could not recommend more.

I love some of the meals. The Dahl lacked seasoning, I never add salt but had to with this. Otherwise delicious- particularly the tagine.

Great customer service and delicious meals

We shared this between three for one meal. Two ate the burgers and I had the tacos. Our guest was a meat-eater who pronounced the burger/fillet very good. Lots of fillings and dips etc. Only comment was that you needed larger sized tacos as these were so small you could hardly get anything in. I had a bag of corn tortilla chips and we all mopped up with those. Very tasty.

Ordered the burger and tacos dining event. We had the food over two nights and each meal was delicious. Would definitely recommend. My partner is not vegan or vegetarian but he really enjoyed it too.

I have found all the various meals very tasty that I have to decide which one to eat as the are all delicious & extremely healthy

Delicious!!! Loved every meal so far, especially the tofish. The price is very reasonable. Excellent quick meals, will definitely buy again!

Have ordered a number of meals from The Brook now - each of them has been packaged extremely well and delivered on time. The food is always very tasty, and easy to cook too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

What a fantastic experience! Super easy to follow instructions, everything was packed with flavour and very generous too! In amongst the mmmms and aaaaaahs we found ourselves with very full bellies feeling great! 5/5

Excellent food and great service...so happy we chose a regular delivery

I've now had a few meals from The Brook. As the only vegan in the house I enjoy them twice. :-) I've had excellent experience dealing with The Brook. Including the one time my delivery was damaged in transit. They just simply replaced it the following week.
Looking forward to my next meal next week.
