Dave is unapologetically a true Welsh man with the love for metal dectecting and it passes from person to person!! He gives real insight to the ups and downs of detecting all whilst keeping a positive outlook and amazing advise that anyone will easily understand. All the videos and information are precise and so simple to understand. Loads of information on there too!! I can't speak more highly of him. 5 stars isn't enough 👍🏻

every thing is explained very well so it is easy to understand, this has helped me a lot and given me alot of guidance with cleaning coins, definitely recommend giving the videos a watch and a read through

Dave gives the most excellent advice and support with detector matters far and wide. I did this hobby for many years when I was younger with the old tandy detector with varied results, the modern advancements in technology and understanding could not be brought to the forefront for people just like me to learn about. Dave has really more than anything re-ignited my passion for this hobby and I couldn't be more grateful for his wisdom and scale peaking enthusiasm. Thanks again my mate. Keep doing what your doing. I originally came across Dave on TikTok doing one of his live streams. Up to that point I had no knowledge about metal detecting whatsoever, but something about his enthusiasm and delivery captivated me and had me hooked from minute one. Now, some 7 months on, with help along every step from Dave, I'm fully immersed in this great hobby.
Dave's website is fantastic, feature packed and perfect for beginners and experienced hobbyists alike. From kit reviews to instruction videos there's something for everyone, all delivered with Dave's jovial and engaging way, and his boundless enthusiasm.
I can't recommend his website, his social media channels and the man himself more highly.

Dave is a great mentor to others like myself who are interested in metal detectecting, he explains in detail all about the settings on the various detectors he's using, recommends 'starters' which to detector is the one for you, ie the numbers which come up for the many different signals that are being shown, all round just a pleasure to watch his lives, wheather detecting or cleaning his finds, just fantastic!! I found Dave one evening whilst aimlessly scrolling through tiktok, after watching a few of his lives he pointed out he had just set up a web site.
I was getting more and more interested in metal detecting for the history side so I thought id check out his website and im so glad I did, it's packed with a wealth of information for all levels of detecting, it has a weekly blog which shows finds and explains some history of said finds, on the website you will also find links to various metal detecting groups around the country. I find the site extremely helpful especially for beginners and it is extremely informative.

Great experience buying off David through his links. Helped me set it up and gave me lots of good settings and tips. Won’t go anywhere else to buy metal detecting equipment.
