The food - a Sunday Lunch - was mediocre and the service slow. Very rude wine waiter - dark hair and beard, short and unpleasant - who had the gall to suggest the reason I sent my wine back wasn’t because it was corked but because it wasn’t a wine I was used to. Won’t be going back.

Excellent pub, very good atmosphere

Excellent pub. Food is fantastic, service fantastic, staff are helpful and friendly and it is amazing value for money. Would definitely recommend.

As we came out of lockdown I couldn’t wait to have a nice meal out with some drinks. I am so glad I booked this pub the food was lovely and the beer garden had a great atmosphere. Will be back soon

The Black Horse:

Great Pub, had a lovely stop off at this little gem, had dinner on the meal deal of a fresh made meat pizza, and a bottle of wine for £12 which i thought was a bargain specially as i then sat and watched live music for free. Really friendly staff and a good selection of spirits, ales too. highly recommend a visit.
