We are an online UK based independent used book seller. We stock a vast array of books from the latest releases all the way through to antique and rare titles, with more stock uploaded daily. A table of descriptors is available on our website so you know the condition of your next book, and if you are purchasing a rare or antique title you will find pictures of the actual book rather than a stock photo. We offer free delivery anywhere in the UK with every order over £10. Over the next few months we are extending our range of gifting as well as looking to set up an area for independent authors to sell their books.

Absolutely atrocious, Book never received trying to contact the seller for a full refund is a also a total Joke.

My Mistake (I'm Sorry About That)
I ordered a book on January 25th from Brook Bookstore through one of their partner platforms and not directly from them. Given that at the time of the order I was informed of the long times, after a week I decide to kindly ask for information (again via the purchasing platform) on the approximate shipping times but I have not received any response and therefore on February 2nd I decide to cancel the order also because it had not been shipped so they could very well have blocked it. Only in that case do they deign to respond, asking me if I wanted to confirm the cancellation. I replied that if they had guaranteed me that they would have shipped by the following working day, but had communicated it to me immediately since I had already ordered the same product from another retailer and I could only block it if I had done so promptly on the same day. Having not received any response, as usual, I informed him that I was no longer interested and that I was confirming the cancellation. Even in this case, I am totally ignored and today after 3 days they allow me to ship the product after I had canceled the order and at the time of cancellation it was still being processed. Does this seem normal to you? Are we joking??? I’m Sorry but totally negative experience: failed retailer!

Hi. It seems you have shared this review under the wrong company. We do not operate under any 'partner platforms' solely operating from our own website thebookbrook.co.uk . The reason we only operate from our own website is for exactly the reasons you mentioned above, including poor timescales and a lack of communication. We work incredibly hard to make sure our customers are satisfied with their orders and maintain open communication throughout any order process.
I am really sorry you've had a terrible experience from another book seller however we would kindly ask you post this review to the appropriate business, so that they are made aware of your frustrations and can work on improving their own customer service.

I highly commend this bookseller
I received a book in very good condition at a good price. The service and communication was excellent and delivery was very fast too. I plan to definitely keep an eye on their site for future purchases. An excellent and trustworthy online book supplier.
