Lovely staff but very pricey!! . Makeup wasn’t what was expected from the experience. They spoke to me about the packages and they only suggested two what wasn’t in my price range until I asked if they had any others and then they told me

Jodie is absolutely amazing at what she does. The Boudoir caters for all corners of the trans community; and does it extremely well. Whether you are a first time makeover, or someone who needs a quick makeover-to-go, your experience is tailored specifically to you. I will also say, not only do you get a first class makeover, or trip out, or whatever your choice is; you also get a level of empathy and understanding which is way above and beyond just providing a service. Jodie genuinely cares about her clients and that’s why they return.
The Boudoir is THE place to go if you are a UK trans girl.

The Boudoir is a decent place with a welcoming atmosphere. Jodie is friendly and skilled, making guests feel comfortable during their visits. The makeup and transformation skills are impressive, and the sessions are enjoyable. However, despite the positive aspects, there are areas that could improve to enhance the overall experience. It's an okay spot if you're considering a visit, but don't expect miracles.

So so miss the boudoir
The last time I visited the Great Miss Jodie Lynn was back in 2004 time and my last trip was in 2006.
I always loved going along to see her and loved having are chats and my makeup done. Enjoyed the trips out to the clubs and dinners out and about in London. A lots changed and transitioned and went by a different name , but love to come back and bring my two daughters to see you again in 2025. My daughters love looking at my old photos from that time and I total miss you old cat you had spike .....hope to pay a visit soon as it's been years and living in the US and UK over the last 20 years and COVID made it a bit crazy to pay a visit but hope too in 2025

I finally ventured to the Boudoir after 20 years of talking myself out.

Instantly Jodie made me feel welcome and at ease. She is a natural people person. My nerves vanished instantly

When Jodie had finished my makeup, I had to take a double take in the mirror, was that really me? I was beautiful! It took a lot to compose myself after an emotional reveal.

For three hours I was able to chat like one of the girls, and had the most fun I had in years.

As well as being amazing at her job, Jodie is friendly and easy to get along with. If you are nervous and worried about a visit, don’t be. She will put your mind at ease instantly

Im not exaggerating that my outlook on life completely changed after my visit.

I will 100% be visiting again in the future

Jodi gave our family such a precious gift today - as parents we were able to witness what felt like the birth of our daughter - my husband cried more happy tears than if he had actually been at a birth!! She made her feel so special and gave her 3 hours of care, love and knowledge which has set her up for her new life.
We cannot thank Jodi enough for all she has done - the woman is amazing and we cannot recommend her highly enough.

Despite having dressed for as many of my 33 years as I can remember, I was still terrified about first visiting Jodie earlier this year. Jodie availed those fears almost instantly, with her incredibly understanding, welcoming, and sensitive approach.
Picking up on things almost without anything having to be said initially, Jodie quickly shaped an idea of what I needed communication wise, as well as what I was looking for stylistically.
Over my three current visits, I have enjoyed a lot of fun as well as a lot of meaning.
Jodie has made me look better than I ever thought possible and has increased the confidence and acceptance in this otherwise confused and muddled head of mine!

Jodie provides exceptional service and value. She focuses exclusively on male to female and has been doing it for years. Her knowledge is fantastic.
I went for the two-hour makeup lesson - accompanied by my supportive wife who also picked up some useful tips for herself! Jodie made up half my face and guided me on the other half - a great way to learn. Afterwards, she sent a step-by-step guide of what we did and the products she used.
She is a lovely person and I unhesitatingly recommend her. I'll definitely be back.

I've now visited Jodie twice with the first being my first professional makeover as Nikki. I found Jodie to be very professional in her work, someone who puts you at your ease and happy to chat and is not judgemental at all. She has that magic touch of making you look very feminine and glamourous. To me she is a beautiful person both inside and out and Im really glad I've used her services. My recent first trip out en femme with her was lovely and I was glad of her support. I just wished I had used her services earlier. I have enjoyed both visits tremendously and cant wait for my next one. xx

I couldn't recommend the Boudioir highly enough. Jodie will make you feel immediately at ease and comfortable with who you are and who you are inside. She understands the myriad of psychologies around who we are and why we do what we do.

I instantly didn't feel awkward anymore or embarrassed about opening up about who I was to someone else and she helped me fully accept who I am.

As for the professional side, the transformation from he to she make up and outfit selection was a complete shock but in a fabulous way Jodie would struggle to find peers to compare herself to such is her skill and artistry along with her impeccable fashion sense and advice on what would suit best for your body shape.

a cautionary tale that it almost certainly will become habit forming as the look you will be able to achieve is breathtaking.

The additional services in terms of make up lessons and tutorials to help achieve a better look self administered, purchase of the right base cosmetics and fabulous escorted trips where because of her standing in the community you are welcomed with open arms and I have never felt anything other than completely safe and secure either 1:1 or as a group with other "Boudettes" who have become very dear friends.

If I had to score it out of 10 it would invariably be a 10 (only because it is the highest number) although in my opinion the service goes way above and beyond what you might reasonably expect.

Although the Boudoir Los Angeles is no longer around, I am thankful that it allowed me to finally meet Jodie Lynn. For so many years I was admiring her and her work from afar. When I found out she was opening up a Boudoir location in the US (and in Los Angeles) I couldn't wait to meet her. I had Jodie transform me into Christina several times and every single time it was a wonderful experience. She knows exactly what to do with anyone that sits in her chair. Do you want to look glam? She has your covered. Want to look like a seductress? No problem. Her loving and caring personality shines through in her work and how she makes you feel when you're with her. I'm so thankful to have met her and to be able to call her a friend. Make sure you make an appointment and see for yourself!

A couple of years back, i returned from a long absence to expressing myself. I had reservations as i was not getting any younger, and everytime i tried to present myself as i really wanted to, i looked like something out of American Horror Story The Freak Show.

Thats where Jodie came in. I went to her for a make up lesson, not expecting that much as i thought i was beyond repair. What i got was an eye opening experience. I had gone from what my friends called "the bearded lady" to what my friends now call "A slightly androdynous woman". The results were astounding, i had no idea in a million years i could look like that. This completely returned my confidence to me.

I was now ready to go out in public again. After a few great makeovers from Jodie i eventually learned how to do the make up myself, and with one more lesson i have now got it down to looking pretty good.

I have now fully transitioned and am not just going out but living and working as a woman.

My review doesn't stop there though. During lockdown, i have been unable to get the makeup i need for all the Zoom calls i have to now go on for my work, and up stepped Jodie to send me to France everything that i needed to keep going, even going out of her way to get me things from the shops that she didn't have in stock.

All in all, this is a wonderful service and i really don't know where i would be with out it.

On my last visit to the Boudoir I decided to experiment using Jodie's wig purchasing scheme in conjunction with Trendco. Jodie patiently ordered the selection of wigs (4 was the guide) which were subject to last minute change as I am terrible at deciding. I then spent a very relaxing afternoon (Jodie is great at putting people at their ease) enjoying a fabulous makeover and trying one my favourite dresses with the selection of wigs I had chosen, and some of Jodie's own wigs with photos of each. I personally find trying wigs on when fully dressed as the only way to see which styles really work. This was a far more relaxed and enjoyable way to do wig shopping than a rushed hour at Trendco (even though the staff there are great). Thank you Jodie

Jodie was the first person to ever see me en femme. I have been back many times now and joined the girls for a night out and she always makes me look my absolute best - pure sorcery ! 😘

Since first visiting The Boudoir around 20 years ago I continue to be amazed at Jodie's ability to transform this drab canvas into a beautiful woman (well I think I am anyway!). The atmosphere is always relaxed and Jodie is welcoming and helpful. After my first visit I wanted to be out and about more and more and in recent years Jodie's make-up and go service has been used for a few London nights out. If you dream of transforming yourself into that dream girl you will not be disappointed with The Boudoir. Wish I could get there more.

If you are venturing out in the world as your feminine self for the first time, then you will be very at ease with Jodie! I worked with Jodie on my first day out in public ever in Vegas. I generally have a little anxiety during first contact with a new transformation service. But that anxiety quickly subsided by the end of my appointment! Jodie is a gracious and classy lady who brings out your femininity in a safe environment. Her extensive experience working with the transgender community makes her a great choice when choosing a dressing service. You'll get an appearance that takes into account the unique dimensions of the transgender body and face.

Really good makeovers and service, enjoyed the photoshoots and trips out. Would recommend to any first time trans person as Jodie is very friendly and patient
