Bought a fiat 500 from Francesco recently, he was helpful, friendly and made the whole process very easy

Today I visited the Winsford branch, with the idea of buying a new car that I had found on their website.

I phoned up and the car was available, so I planned to visit and check it out.

Before the visit, I was already approved for car finance for the entire amount the car was listed for (£7,999) with an APR of 7.9% (MyCarCredit).

They have said I'm more than welcome to use my own car finance, but mentioned that they do not work with Zuto and CarFinance24/7.

I went to check out the car. Everything was good apart from the missing car's history. So I took it out for test drive & it drove smoothly.

I got in touch with the car finance company, all good to go through with the car. However, they refused to deal with Repossesions UK. Not given much reason as to why.

So I have done a soft search to find any other car finance, found pre-approved at guaranteed 7.8% (ZOPA), gave them a ring and they also refused to work with Repossessions UK.

Spoke to few others via a web chat, and not many car finance companies will work with this dealership.

They can offer finance with one of the companies that they work with (Close Brothers Car Finance) however their APR was an extortionate 14% in this case. This was on the same day that other finance companies were offering me 7.8% (ZOPA) and 7.9% (MyCarCredit) for the same amount and same repayment terms.

Please wary if you're thinking of purchasing a car on finance from here, even if you have a fair credit rating and no adverse credit history. You might struggle to find a finance company that will work with this dealership.

The car finance companies don't want to deal with them, zuto, zopa, carfinance24/7, mycarcredit, most likely many more that would refuse even if the vehicle met their criteria.
There must be a solid reason to their decision.
However they'll tell you you're more than welcome to bring your own finance.

You'll struggle to find one that will deal with Repossesions UK, and you might have to use rip off brothers APR, or buy outright.
The customer service couldn't be bothered less, as long as they get a sale.

Not helpful at all.

Bought my Renault Captur from the huddersfield branch in October 2021. after few weeks told them that air was coming into the car from the passenger door, dashboard lights, missing car manual and missing boot luggage cover. I was told by Kev to speak to Auto guard about dash board lights and they will look into the missing car components. Weeks later I followed up with an email and they never responded. Later on I woke up one morning and and car refuse to start only for AA to come out and say the battery of the car is faulty on taking out the battery I could see a £50 stick on it meaning this was bought off a scarp yard. PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS PLACE THEY DON'T DESERVE A STAR!!!!

Bought a mini from Francesco at the Leeds garage, he was brilliant. Extremely happy with everything, extremely friendly.

I spent months looking for a used car dealership that was both affordable and credible, something which seemed to be very difficult to find as they seemed to be either one or the other. I stumbled on Repossessions UK online and contacted the dealership in Winsford to arrange a test drive. The first car I drove wasn’t right for me so I asked to test drive another. Leanne McKee assisted me with this and quickly established what was important to me in buying a car. I had been planning to hand my car in to the dealer I had bought it from since it had come to the end of the PCP agreement, then purchase the car I test drove. Leanne suggested I let her value my car first as I might have equity in it. I’m so glad I did because there was not only enough equity in it to purchase the car I test drove outright but also to leave me with some unexpected money too.

Throughout the experience, Leanne was professional, friendly and understanding so I felt in good hands. I have already recommended several friends to speak to Leanne at Repossessions UK as the customer service she provided was outstanding. Thanks Leanne!

Friendly staff on site very informative about the car that I was interested in and was in a really good condition for the price that I paid. Decent sized car park where you are allowed to do a test run.

Called up the Leeds branch regarding a car I saw online, arranged a viewing, good service from Francesco.

After the earlier phone call and asking a few questions about car , more or less about break pad, break disc, tyres, I was told everything was in perfect condition. I asked these questions as i had a lot of miles to travel to even see the car. After agreeing on a day to see the car i was told i would also be able to take the car on a test drive. After arriving, it turned out the dashboard showed that break pads needed replacing. The break discs were very worn out, and the tyres tread wasn't there (the cheapest cost for replacement with tyres is around 900). After that, i asked for a test drive and i was told that cannot be because he was alone, which this was talked about previously and was told i would be able to. Whilst i was asking different questions about the car, i was rudely asked whether i was going to buy the car or not because he didn't have the time to talk. definitely dont recommend this place for buyers.
