The Cornish Larder began life in 2018 by a young Cornish Chef, Jake Kendall. We started producing small batches of preserves at home, testing recipes and combining flavour combinations. We then began getting in contact with our favourite Cornish alcohol and food producers, learning more about their products and how we could combine them within our jars. This lead us to create flavours including our Caramelised Onion Chutney with Keltek Ale, our Chilli Jam with Cornish Chillies and our Strawberry Jam with Tarquin's Gin. Our aim is to bring Cornwall’s food & drink scene together in harmony. A jar from The Cornish Larder will take you on a complete culinary tour of the beautiful county we call home!

I received one bottle with a damaged


I received one bottle with a damaged cap which had meant some of the sauce had spread in the parcel, but not a real issue. I await a replacement as stated in your recent email.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry that the bottle arrived with a damaged cap, although unfortunately this damage occurred while the parcel was in the couriers care and wasn’t something we could have prevented.

As soon as you contacted us, we responded the very next business day and, despite being a small business, dispatched a replacement immediately so it’s a shame it’s a 4 star rather than 5 star review however I appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review nevertheless!

We hope the replacement arrives safely and that you enjoy the sauce! :)

Orange & Gin Marmalade

Their Orange & Gin marmalade is quite simply the best marmalade I’ve ever tasted. Discovered it whilst on holiday in Cornwall in 2025 - brought three jars home with me, and then discovered I could buy online. I’m now starting jar number ten

I recently bought the bbq sauces and the Christmas chutneys and the caramel sauce for Christmas gifts. They look wonderful. The products were packed with great care and arrived beautifully boxed. I’m sure my recipients will be very happy with them I will not hesitate to purchase from you again in the future. Thankyou Jake and Abi 😀

The products are phenomenal and the customer service is excellent. I've observed this company's growth over time, yet they still manage to keep a personal touch. The chutneys are my favorite (often hidden for safekeeping), and the salted caramel sauce is delightful. I recently sampled the BBQ sauce, and it was incredible!
