A very comprehensive course

A very comprehensive course, and I'd recommend it to anyone thinking seriously about a professional role in governance and/or as a company secretary. If you've been in it for a few years and wonder what you might learn from it, I am confident that you will learn new things and test your understanding of many more.

The content of the program was excellent.

The content of the program was relevant, up to date and serves as a valuable toolbox for future application and growth. The staff is excellent (Fergal O'Neil was especially professional).
I definitely will be doing other courses with the Institute and be encouraging others to enroll.

ESG Diploma

The ESG Diploma was a very thorough and interesting course with lots to learn and explore. It was set out very clearly and was a good mixture of reading and expert interviews. The only negative comment I have is that ESG moves so rapidly and I felt that some of the resources and information was slightly out of date in terms of the current ESG landscape.

The course setup and material presentation were generally excellent, though some attitudes and data, particularly regarding DEI, felt outdated given current trends in politics and policymakers in the EU and US.

The course content

The course content, format and structure was very strong. I also had a very positive experience in my dealings with people at the institute. I Need to get an extension to my deadline and my requests were dealt with in a pragmatic and helpful manner.
I appreciated the remote and self-paced nature of the course although I feel that this wont suit everyone as there is a risk that of leaving too much to the last minute.
