I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with The Dua Brand.

Over the years, I have spent thousands of dollars on their fragrances and have been a loyal, repeat customer. I have purchased countless bottles and frequently recommended their products to clients, colleagues, and close friends. I genuinely supported this brand and spoke highly of them based on my past experiences.

The issue involves “Dua Cologne 41,” their interpretation of Abercrombie & Fitch’s Cologne 41. I purchased two bottles as Christmas gifts, fully confident in the scent profile I had come to know well. Upon receiving them, it was immediately clear that the fragrance was completely different from previous batches. Cologne 41 is a very distinctive scent, and what I received did not match it in tone, balance, or overall composition.

I contacted customer service and was told the bottles would be analyzed, allegedly even by the CEO. After the review, they were simply sent back to me with no meaningful explanation and no resolution options. I was told they were the same. They were not — and still are not.

I understand that fragrances go through maceration and that oil suppliers can vary slightly between batches. Minor variations are normal. This was not minor. This was a significantly different scent profile.

The lack of accountability and unwillingness to provide a reasonable solution left me extremely disappointed. As someone who has invested substantial money into this brand and personally referred many others to it, this experience has completely changed my perception.

I have decided to stop purchasing from The Dua Brand and will no longer recommend them. Consistency and customer service matter, especially when customers place long-term trust in a company.

I bought perfume for the first time. It smelled nothing like the perfume I buy that was supposed to be a knock off. The perfume has a weird chemical smell. 60 dollars in the trash!! Don’t buy

Wasn't impressed with this brand.. upon first opening, I thought they were super small.But upon first spray, I thought it was going to be great because It was very oily based, and I thought that we had a winner. I sprayed it directly onto my hand it left a puddle of oil and I rubbed it in, you could see the oil shining on my hand But within ten minutes, you couldn't smell nothing .. I bought the heavily loaf of marshmallow for 45 dollars on a sale and Mr snuffles whipped fluffy for 33 .. .. just upon seeing the bottles, I didn't think that it was worth the price for such tiny bottles.BUTTTTTT if the oil would have lasted and projected and had longevity, it would have definitely been worththe buy...But like I said, the scent was gone within ten minutes, and i've already put a dent in them in less than 1 day just trying to keep the smell projecting.. its a big No for me.. unimpressed and unsatisfied customer. Won't b purchasing again. And the smell was just okay.It was nothing that I was blown away by and thought about purchasing more.. the cheaper one actually smelt better than the more expensive one.. I had such high expectations of this brand from all the good reviews ....was a let down for sure.. you can't get a refund or return either.So be wise before you spend big money on little bottles that don't last

Without a doubt DUA has the best inspired fragrances on the market .. I love DUA. I must have around 40-50 bottles of my favorite scents and believe me when I say that they are always 1:1 with the OG except DUAs version smell better and last way longer .. and that’s my 2 cents ….

These fragrances get better and better as they macerate!!!

I love the Dua Brand 😍 💓 💖. There is 1 tiny frustrating thing for me is sometimes how sticky and glitchy the website can be. But it has improved over the past couple of weeks. I'm in love with the Hybrids and Tribrids. Dua gave me a voice and start in Fragrances.

the dua brand smells like nasty chemicals I bought 6 of them because of big sale I got influenced and they were all horrendous/ one was supposed to smell like cookies and vanilla and it smelled like wood and gasoline the brand doesn’t give refunds either if you ever have an issue . I won’t ever buy again my lungs will thank me . The dooops aren’t good

After being a Dua’s customer for a few years and amassing a collection of their perfumes, i am deeply disappointed after my recent experience. Have ordered a THIRD bottle of my favorite perfume in December. A THIRD BOTTLE. Dua sends a wrong fragrance in the right bottle. Even the colour of perfume is different, let alone the scent - it’s a completely different fragrance, to add insult to injury, it’s not one I would use either. Writing to Dua immediately, what do i get? They will not take responsibility for their mix-up, no redress, NOTHING OFFERED TO FIX THE PROBLEM OR COMPENSATE. First they came back with suggestion to let it stand for a while, as if it will magically turn a wrong scent into a right one, then they refused to refund or issue credit. Hell, they even refused to acknowledge they’ve done wrong. I am willing to send it back, but it’s not their policy, apparently. So yeah, lost me as a customer and i suggest you walk away, too, they are pricey, their delivery is horrendously expensive and they won’t put right their own mix-ups. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS COMPENSATE, not refuse to fix it, which is literally what they did. I sent them photos of both bottles i have side by side, it’s clearly not the same perfume with one being almost colourless and the other the colour of strong tea, still got the ‘let it macerate’ reply. AVOID.

They sent the wrong item and now expect the customer to handle the return. They should arrange a courier to collect it. There is no reason for me to run around or pay out of pocket to return an item that was sent incorrectly.

Be cautious before purchasing from this brand. Their customer service is extremely poor, and I do not recommend them.

No return or even exchange policy. So if you don’t like the smell, then that’s too bad and you’re out $40+. The bottles are rather small as well for the price.

I made two orders for Dua Lux 100ml bottles during Christmas sales and only took 2-3 days to process before sent to Fedex. Overall, they took only a week to arrive to Australia, faster than local AusPost deliveries. The 33% off sale was definitely a bonus.
No issues with any leaking bottles and every one was packed carefully with bubble wraps.
Not sure of the negative reviews from people. Haters gonna hate, no matter what.
I have more than 120 Dua bottles and most are spot on dupes and better projection and longevity than the OGs. Examples include Vanillac Dreams, Spiced Vanilla Extrait 21, Vaniglia Dreams and Dust of Delight. Phenomenal impressions.

The performance due to the high concentrated compounds at an unbeatable price is what makes Dua an excellent alternative to the unreasonable prices of some niche houses in the market right now.

Fast international shipping for re ups of Dua fragrances I already know are good (Zest and One and Only). Some fragrances they sell are poor dupes (Ruler of his Empire I’m looking at you) so YMMV

I had a wonderful experience with DUA. Shipping was fas, the packaging was beautiful, and I absolutely loved the velvety pouch included with the bottle - such a lovely touch. The fragrances are beautifully blended and long-lasting, wearing smoothly on the skin. A truly enjoyable experience all around.

Great value with a huge selection of originals and inspired and hybrid creations. You can’t go wrong with Dua. So many to choose from.

I love Jo Malone's Cypress and Grapevine, but I'm not crazy about the price. The dupe that Dua created is even better than the original. It's long lasting, and smells great.

Ok, if you're like me and want to smell great but do not want to drop $150 - 300 + dollars on a bottle of cologne or perfume. This is the spot! Truth people! What I do is go by Dillard's, Macy's... and find a few I like and then go and find it on Dua. Every one I've of the colognes I've purchased have been as good or better! They sometimes tweak it a smidgen and boom! Top shelf scents at a fraction of the price and they have longevity. I have 6 bottles. Fierce Eattar, Late Night Venom, Carved From Aoud, Dua on La Fayette St, Final Verdict and Herbs & Sea Salt. So dang good! I already have a bunch in my cart just waiting for me to pull the trigger. Dua definitely knows what they are doing. I actually wear Dua more often then my name brand colognes. Truth!

I ordered the Vanilla Antique which was supposed to be a dupe for Byredo Antique Vanilla. My daughter and 3 grown granddaughters thought it was very offensive and didn't want me to wear it around them. I hadn't worn it previously and didn't realize it was that bad. I don't smell fragrance on myself that much. Very disappointed and I won't be making a purchase without testing it first.
