Craig is such a nice person. Did a great job. He completed the job with due care. There was no hidden cost. He also asked me if I really needed the extra shelves as the boarding space was already spacious and that would save me money as well. Everything was straightforward. 100% recommend.

I had the loft insulated, boarded and the added roof membrane, along with door and loft ladder. I was really impressed with the price i didnt even bother getting another, the job was carried out professionally and efficiently being completed in just over a day. I also note that there was consideration that went into the layout to ensure for ease of use and to ensure the cost was kept as low as possible. Super happy thank you Leigh for a lovely job and for the functionality demos :)

This is the second time we’ve used Craig and the work was 5-star as before.

He fitted a raised section of boarding, new loft hatch and a great telescopic ladder for access, he even fitted a rechargeable loft light….excellent!

We’ll definitely have him back to fit some loft shelves. Professional job.

After reading reviews left previously I can only agree with all the excellent comments made. Jackie who provided communication was friendly helpful and prompt with any answers I needed.when Craig arrived to do the job he went above(no pun intended) and beyond to do an excellent job,he was friendly, explained everything he was doing and why,he was quick and very efficient doing small extras that made all the difference, he cleaned up after himself leaving it nice and tidy( if he ever goes into cleaning,I'm there lol)I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to someone who wants to deal with a genuinely helpful and efficient company who 'do what it says on the tin'....thankyou to making my loft livable

Highly recommend Craig he explained everything about the ladder and did a perfect job fitting all that was needed.
At a later date will use again to complete whole boarding of loft.

Absolutely no hesitation in giving the full five star recommendation. Craig’s initial look-see outlined what could be achieved within our loft space, the pricing was very competitive and availability suited our timescale. The work was carried out quickly, professionally and with minimal disruption to our normal routine. And all areas left spotless on completion.

Right from quote to installation and completing the job, The Essex Boarding Company were efficient and professional throughout. Craig and Lee were friendly, professional and super efficient, they even cleared up the mess after and left the house like they hadn't been here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys! 10/10

Beyond impressed. Especially with the heat we've been having I half expected the job to be pushed back. Craig and his companion (who were both friendly and professional) turned up on time and kept our property clean and tidy.
We now have a larger hatch, much better wooden ladder, boarding and insulation! It's tranformed our home! Thanks Craig for the fantastic job. I will be recommending you to everyone I know.

Craig went above and behond came out to us again after our quote was given. Knowing I was concerned about the ladder we originally was going to have.(Due to me falling from my old house loft in 2011 from top to bottom ).Recommended a wooden ladder .Craig advised us well about storage and space in our loft and garage.Jackie in admin also communicated with us by what's app
And was very helpful.Given updates when they was coming to do the job.Graig and Lee completed the job cant tell you how much our loft looks different after being boarded. Looks clean with loads of space to store items.They was very tidy too, left no mess .I highly recommend this company.Very good price.And pleased to say i feel safer going up into our loft now. Professional and clear on pricing and communication

Craig was so helpful and accommodated some short notice changes without complaint. The work was completed quickly, with minimal disruption and cleaned up agter himself. I am so pleased with the boarding, ladder and eaves shelves. My loft is now usable and for a bery reasonable cost! As a woman living alone, getting in the loft was a daunting prospect but now I can get in and out with ease. Thank you!!

On time and kept informed throughout installation. Clean and tidy and friendly. They informed on the day that the surveyor has quoted for shelving that was not actually required. They revised the quote and charged me less. Honest and top class service.

Very friendly and professional completed boarding two lofts with ladders. Kindly came backtwo weeks later as we hadn’t removed two water tanks. All rubbish taken away.
