The Garage Conversion Specialist Ltd レビュー

We decided to convert our garage, keeping around one-third as storage and transforming the remaining two-thirds into a home gym.

From our initial phone call with Steve, we felt confident that we were dealing with a professional and reputable company. Following the call, Steve visited our home to discuss the project in detail, and we were then provided with a clear, comprehensive quote.

Throughout the build, the team were polite, professional, and hardworking. When I identified a small issue during the work, Steve came out promptly to inspect it, and it was resolved quickly without any hassle.

We are absolutely over the moon with the finished result and have already made great use of our new home gym. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a garage conversion.

Steve and his team were great from start to finish of my conversion. Despite adverse weather the project was completed in the time scale given and to budget.
The work they have undertaken is to a really high standard and their attention to detail was second to none.
I thoroughly recommend them and will be having them back to complete my second conversion project.

The bottom line is, we had to sack them. Reasons? Broken promises; days, even weeks of assurances people would be on site, but failed to appear; work still incomplete six-weeks after the latest completion promise; poor quality of work, with ‘corner-cutting’ and worse, completely ignoring agreed expectations and then doing things in a different, and incorrect way. Some work required FOUR lots of corrections, many required two or three. Damage to existing property through carelessness. Communication was appalling, with days of messages ignored, then abuse when demanding response or attendance. The guy in charge (I use the term loosely), is unpleasant and a miserable excuse, and constantly used unfounded excuses for non-attendance and delays. By his action and inaction, he caused no end of anxiety and stress, and caused us to have to cancel a trip away, losing a considerable sum of money. We just could not leave them to do the work - we learned that we literally had to supervise every screw and nail. We wish to God that we’d never placed our faith in them, and we now have other professionals completing the work. It was promised a four-week job, six at the outside. We’re now in week twelve! I’d never give them a recommendation. Absolutely terrible company.

Photos and other evidence available on request.

Excellent company, thorough, efficient and accommodating. All of those involved were hard working and fast. Kept to the schedule, highly organised and very personable. Would definitely recommend as very trustworthy - hard to find reliable and honest companies. They converted my double garage into a lovely, light and bright living/bedroom for my mother, 91 years old, who is moving in with us. They do everything from start to finish, including painting, hanging doors etc. so literally move in ready. I just needed to buy the curtains. Super impressed!

Forget about asking anyone else to do your garage conversion! Steve and his team are the absolute best choice you could make for your project.
From his initial visit through to the conversion being completed, our experience was nothing short of excellent. The efficiency and professionalism that Steve operates with is outstanding, he’s also full of great ideas and solutions. Steve and his team are skilled, friendly and a pleasure to have ‘on site’ for the duration of the project. During our garage conversion, Steve was easy to contact and present at every stage of the project.
My advice?…Don’t waste time getting other builders to quote for your garage conversion! If you want a stress free build and a brilliant end result, all managed by a genuinely good human, you won’t regret hiring Steve and his skilled team for your project. There is absolutely no one better.

I had my garage converted into a dining room.

I was a little unsure about what I'd achieve through this but the end result far exceeded my expectations, both in terms of the space generated and the quality of the end product. Redeployment of existing kitchen units were immaculate resulting in a room that is as in a new build.

Steve and his team were very professional, willing and friendly. All issues were discussed and delivered to schedule. Any changes were dealt with without quibble.

A very professional and top quality job.

We’re absolutely delighted with the work carried out. From start to finish, the team were professional, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. Every stage of the process was handled with care and attention to detail, and everything was left spotlessly clean and tidy. The finished room looks fantastic and has given us valuable extra space, we couldn’t be happier with the result. A huge thank you to Steve, Kay, and the whole team for such a great experience!

Garage review

If you’re looking to convert your garage then look no further than The Garage Conversion Specialists, as they WILL exceed your expectations!

From the first contact, Steve was easy to speak to, he wasn’t pushy or demanding and we felt at ease in discussing our requirements. His quote was very competitive and it was for exactly what we asked for with no hidden extras.

Steve supplied a timeline detailing the costings for every stage of the project. His focus was on our needs and that was clear throughout. Our vision was turned into reality with precision and creativity but most importantly no compromise on the quality of the build.

Steve also instantly engaged and included our children throughout, our daughter who the garage was being converted for was included from the start, her needs, wants and wishes considered at every stage. Our youngest son wanted to help and took an instant shine to both Steve and Tom, he was given little jobs to do. This inclusion of our children is another example of how the Garage Conversion Specialists go above and beyond.

The team were all polite, considerate (not only to us but the neighbours) and clearing up after themselves as they went along. Their interactions with us as a family were professional with some added humour and banter along the way.

Steve and Kay are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, they will communicate clearly with you at every stage of the project, ensuring that you are kept informed and confident in their work.

What sets Steve and Kay apart is their commitment to timelines and budget without compromising on quality. You don’t just feel like the ‘customer’ you feel valued.

The Garage Conversion Specialists are a company you can trust for reliability, excellence and outstanding customer service. From the start to finish Steve and the team will deliver top level craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail.

We would highly recommend them for any project, the only downside to using them is, you will miss them when the project is complete!

Steve and the team turned my garage into a bedroom for my teenage son. From start to finish they were professional, tidy and the quality of workmanship is next to none.

After having Steven and the team around to fit my windows from Haus Developer, I asked them to create me a man cave for my husband to spend time in. The team worked efficiently, they always kept me informed and created what I wanted.
So happy, i always recommend them.

I cannot recommend the Garage Conversion Specialist highly enough! They transformed my cluttered garage into a beautiful therapy room and from start to finish, they were so professional and communicated every step of the process clearly

Thank you for creating a space, that's truly changed my home and business. I am thrilled with the result and would wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone considering a garage conversion!

The communication was outstanding throughout and we were never left guessing what the next step is. Steve sat with us and discussed what we were looking for, helped us create our vision to meet our needs of the room we wanted to create. The finish is really high quality and we look forward to future projects with this company

Converted half our garage into a gym, absolutely brilliant. Completed in a timely manner and as described, no hidden costs. Would 100% recommend Steven and his team, he even helped me install the gym equipment.
