Unfortunately, I have and continue to have real problems with this company following my install which completed 8 weeks ago. My installation was rearranged 3 times on the day or the night before. The installation took 1 week to complete due to missing parts and 8 weeks on I have still not received my DNO and MCS certificate despite numerous assurances that it’s provision is imminent. All in all it continues to be an exhausting experience dealing with this firm. Wish I had gone elsewhere as there’s so much choice in this market. Needless to say I will not be recommending this company to my friends and family.

After apporaching about 6 companies for quotes we finally decided on The Green Co-Op. We had been communicating with Jason around the number of panels, batteries etc to get the best system for the price. Communication was great, easy and fast. Price was very competitive. This helped with the decision to accept their quote for 10 Panels (480w) over 2 roofs, 2x 5kwh duracell batteries with a 3.6kw inverter. There was no initial site visit and everything was discussed over email. The installation date was also very quick, within 14 days of ordering. The scaffolding and materials arrived the day before the installation date and on the install date the roofers arrived nice and early. We discussed the plan and then made a slight amendment to the panel positioning to get the best from the system. Initially there was an error with the brackets supplied, these were too small for the tiles. this did cause a delay as new brackets had to be sourced. When the electrician turned up we ran through the placement of the batteries, cabling and connections to the panels. We felt listened to with regard to wanting the install to look professional and also aesthetically in sync with the house. The installers worked late into the evening to try and get it complete but still neded to come back the day after to finish it off. The system looks great and is working very well - the duracell app isn't great though!
After the install I did have to do some chasing to get a date for the scaffolding to come down and also for all the paperwork to be sent through to enable me to apply for the SEG. I do tend to want things done quickly so will chase. The paperwork came through after 3 weeks and the scaffolding was down after a week.
I would definitely reccommend The Green Co-Op for solar install. Great price, fast professional install and a listening company.

Just had a Solar System fitted (16 panels a 6kw inverter and a 10kwh Dines battery, which has a full battery management system a heater to ensure the battery is at optimum temperature to receive it's charge and for piece of mind a fire suppression system) the team was basically split into 2, the roofers who fix the panels and the electricians that bring the system together.
Both teams were excellent, knew thier job and work in a professional clean and diligent manner, what struck me was they enjoy the job, very happy to explain what they were doing and how everything fits together, and actually it's very interesting and I must say it's great to know the jobs been done right.
Jason Murphy was the initial contact, he made everything go so smoothly. A real wealth of knowledge when it comes to solar systems.
Highly recommend, so pleased we finally bit the bullet, the savings are instant from day 1.

Absolutely delighted with the solar panel installation. The whole process was professional, straightforward and well managed from start to finish. The team arrived when promised, worked efficiently and took real care with the installation, leaving everything clean and tidy afterwards.

The panels look great, everything was clearly explained, and the standard of workmanship was excellent. It’s refreshing to deal with people who take genuine pride in doing a job properly.

He explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made the whole process easy to understand. The installation team were professional, worked efficiently, and completed the job to a really high standard, leaving everything clean and tidy.

The whole experience was straightforward from start to finish, and it’s great knowing we’re already reducing our electricity bills while making a positive difference for the environment.
