Be careful!

They are known for using a predatory checkout practice known as “dark pattern” to auto enroll customers.

This is your warning. You made a simple order and you won’t realize what happens until they take money out of your bank account.

It also took about four weeks to receive my order. Excuse me, my last order. The smell was gone by noon after spraying at 8:00 in the morning.

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS
I’ve emailed them because I bought one of the fragrances by mistake, but they don’t reply to emails, and they have messages blocked—communication is terrible. I think they’re just waiting for the 30-day window to expire so they don’t have to accept returns or issue refunds. Anyone buying from them should be absolutely sure of their choice so they don’t have to deal with a company that only cares about making sales and has no interest in the customer.

The colognes are genuinely good, which makes HOK’s membership system such a disappointment.

I bought colognes believing it was a one-off purchase. It was not made clear to me that I was joining a recurring paid membership. A further authorisation has since appeared on my debit card, and I’m seeking an explanation and a refund of any membership fees.

Accessing and cancelling the membership was unnecessarily difficult, with repeated offers and warnings about benefits I’d lose. The cancellation questionnaire even asks whether you thought you were making a one-time purchase rather than joining a membership. That is exactly my complaint. Why isn’t this made clearer before customers pay?

In my experience, the process feels manipulative and risks taking advantage of customers less familiar with online subscriptions. Customers shouldn’t have to work this hard to understand their purchase or stop recurring payments.

Chasing short-term payments at the expense of customer trust is a shortsighted way to run a business. Good products deserve repeat customers, but this experience has put me off buying again. I would not recommend HOK based on its membership and cancellation process.

I’m terribly distressed that this company won’t make it. They have an outstanding product at a reasonable price. These are the companies we should be supporting.

They promised a 30 day money back guarantee and that the product was supposed to last 12* hours it barely lasted and when I asked for my money back they said the guarantee does not exist even though I screenshotted the ad and sent it to them. I have this all in writing and would post it here but it won’t allow.

Very decent perfume, especially for the price point. Customer service was clear, friendly, respectful, and informative.

I have ordered from HOK twice, both on a 4 for $80 deal (I wait for the promo). It's not perfect but it works and I would purchase again.

Pros:
- They smell indistinguishable and/or very comparable to the originals.
- Shipping is somewhat fast. I tend to get my orders in under 2 weeks.
- 5 of the 8 perfumes I ordered last 8-12 hours easily.
- Customer Service is somewhat quick to respond, usually a day or two. The AI assistant is helpful.

Cons:
- I paid with 2 different cards (one for each order) and I was charged (or was about to be) subscription fees on each one. Luckily it was only $3. I would've been upset at the $30. Subscription itself does not offer a great benefit because I could get the bottles cheaper if I wait for the sale.
- Website does not say which perfumes are unisex. Often it will show you all at once and accidentally bought a women's. Hard to differentiate.
- Varying degree of how long it lasts. 3 of the 8 didn't last longer than 30 minutes (I spray on a shirt and come back to check it later).

All in all, I would purchase again, but probably only the ones that have lasted me a long time. Not sure if it was a bad batch or not but will try again in the future.

If there is one thing that I appreciate in a company and the people that work there, it is competency. And the guys at HOK are just that at the highest level. They were extremely responsive and quick to answer my questions without the "expect a response within 5-7 business years" nonsense, and this was the first time ever that I brought up an issue and the customer service team actually worked to bring forth a proper solution. These guys are legit, and may The Lord bless them for real. Also, aside from all that, these fragrances smell really good too, just as they should.

The customer service is great I’ve bought a 3pack perfume combo unfortunately I made a mistake while choosing my perfume the costumer support was helpful in sorting that order out for me and I’m liking the perfumes so far, especially “visionary” it really smells good and lasts longer highly recommend it.

Placed an order and was not a fan of one of the scent I picked, customer service was excellent when I reached out to them

My order been in transit for almost two months. I’ve emailed them and didn’t get a response. I don’t think I will receive that order.

The product is okay, but the company's billing for membership and privacy practices are concerning. Customer service responded quickly until I requested that my account and personal information be deleted. After that, I received no response. I was also unable to remove my credit card information from my account. Based on my experience, I recommend proceeding with caution and considering other options.

I accidentally pressed the delivered button and emailed them and they responded quick and solve my issues….

Customer service was fast and helpful. I was pleased with every fragrance but one, and they helped me through the process and ai eventually got a new one.

I want to take a second and let you know that I am very satisfied with my interactions with HOK. There are some bad reviews out there about your company. There are some complaints about people not receiving their product, there are some complaints about the product not lasting, and there are some negative comments about your customer service. NONE of that is reflective of my interactions with your company and your products. If you look at my account, you will see that I placed an order for three bottles. They came in a timely fashion and they smell amazing. They also are quality products that last for hours! I, without hesitation, placed an order for six other bottles. They came quickly and I am in love with all of the scents. And your response to my concerns shows that you're committed to exceptional customer service. I am an advocate and a fan.

I ordered the colognes first and was pleasantly surprised by the comparison scents. Then I ordered the body butter to layer my new scents. They sent scent less body butters???? I emailed and got escalated and they have replaced with cologne (my choice). Happy with the customer service care.

I was not impressed with the quality of the scent or the longevity. I even ordered my initial three with the "extra" oil for longevity. These are clearly clones. The scent last maybe a couple of hours. I purchased these through SHOP. So live and learn. But then I just got charged $2.95 because they automatically signed me up for a "subscription." I did not do this! Went on line and canceled the subscription.

Good customer service to clarify questions about their products.

love the fragrances, have ordered so many times, will still try new ones..

I haven't received my cologne yet to test the smell and longevity, but they are fast at processing orders. Really fast.
