I have used the hoth's services to help scale a handful of client websites. What keeps me coming back is that their products are quality vs other seo firms.

The Hoth does a great job with our accounts

I run a small agency... Jan has been great to work with. He has a great sense of what is going to work with SEO. We have got some great results on a few different projects. Keen to get more projects rolling with the HOTH.

Working with the Hoth has been amazing.

The turnaround point for my business was when I hired them to remake my PPC, I went from being an employee working my business on the side to working on my business full time due to all the traffic I get now.

Max my account manager responds to all my emails despite how annoying they can be sometimes.

I would have had a hard time getting my SEO business off the ground if it wasn't for The Hoth. Trevor (account manager) and Rachael (campaign manager) have been amazing to work with.

However, the content generally lacks the polish I would expect for anything that I would ever consider publishing on a customer's site, so I usually spend an extra $65-100 for every 1500-2000 words of content to have another contractor proofread and edit for spelling, grammar, localization, tone, and flow before I put on any of my own finishing touches. I could reject the content, but it takes longer to write thoughtful rejection notes than it does to make the changes, so it would be counterproductive on my end.

It's also a little bit difficult to find and approve specific articles unless you keep track of the direct link to the Hoth X order for that month. They also removed the ability to open recent Hoth X campaigns directly from the portal home page, so there's always an extra click, and then more clicks to find the article you want to approve since articles also aren't searchable by title.

There have also been a couple of dropped balls with the billing team where I had to request that contract bonuses be applied to the account.

At the end of the day, The Hoth helped me get the results I promised my customers, but I'll have to pay somebody a 6-figure salary to operate the business without a more seamless experience from the vendor that takes about 1/3 of my service fees off the top.

This month was unusual with a Google Core Update that caused a lot of turbulence in traffic for one of our clients. I reached out to my Hoth account manager Max to make sense of it. He was responsive, smart and excellent at explaining what was happening. This made it possible to accurately report on it to my client with confidence. I would have been lost without him! So valuable!

My account representative, Sam Mora, has been super helpful in getting a few new accounts going. I am pleased with the results! I highly recommend their services!

I couldn't have asked for a better Hoth X account manager than Jan Cankusic.

He wants as much success for my business as I do. He doesn't just go through the motions.

He knows my goals and matches everything up nicely so we can find that success.

They are really organized and a well-run SEO agency. I definitely recommend them if you want to keep your campaigns streamlined!

I love working with Jan at The Hoth! It’s SEO made easy and if I ever have a question they’re really responsive.

I had high hopes originally to acquire organic customers to my website cheap fast resumes, and within the first 30 days (before any promised results, I was told, could be expected in terms of customers--so I should just patiently wait and blindly follow “Max” and his pep talks) I wrote a few positive sentences here in my Trustpilot review at that time. Total wishful thinking on my part, with no results to substantiate anything. The following is my “Update”: During my 6 months as a Hoth-X customer, I received a number of what I can only describe as “used-car-salesman”-type pump talks from various HOTH people on the phone and by email, telling me I should just trust them to pay their exorbitant fees, and I would end up with more customers. I feel completely and absolutely deceived by this whole scam Hoth company. I spent approximately $6000 CAD and wasted endless hours of my time, yet received just 4 (four) clicks on the 2 new so-called "service pages" Max and his people created during the entire roughly 5 months dealing with this company. That’s right! Just 4 clicks, and none of them became paying customers, either. My own analytic software back this up. I am also not comfortable with the “fake media reviews” which Hoth inserted into Facebook and elsewhere, written by their freelance writers with poor English in Malaysia, India and elsewhere--apparently to trick Google’s algorithyms into believing they are real customers? So much of what The Hoth did in terms of SEO left my feeling “dirty”, like the whole SEO game they were selling is to try to misrepresent my website to Google in order to trick Google’s engine to bring me to the top. I am an honest person, and an honest businessperson to. I don’t cheat my customers, my wife, or anybody else. After 5 months of ZERO results with Hoth-X, I finally took a hard look at the numbers and my own analytics software, and looking in the mirror I realized I had been “scammed”. So, please do not be fooled by The Hoth. They will undoubtedly reply to this review to defend their flaky rep Max and the whole company. But all I know is I lost over $6000 Canadian Dollars and hundreds of hours of my life. I will never get either back. Please read my words of caution, and don’t be fooled by the whole marketing of The Hoth. Jim (cheap fast resumes)

Sam Mora, is an excellent account manager at the Hoth who goes the extra mile to help us with our SEO, She gives us frequent video screen recordings of the progress of our SEO. We enjoy working with her and the Hoth team. Very good company.

Fab team that produces results!

I started at my current company back in August 2021 and was tasked with the question of back linking and I instantly thought of the Hoth. We did a trial run and saw some results and then signed on with them for a year (22) we are six months in and our linking is superb, the blogs they write are interesting, on brand and produce a fair bit of traffic for us organically! All in all, a fantastic team that produces great results.

And they're super friendly too!

Great service and their team is on it! One of the things I appreciate most is their follow up. They reach out to remind me about info or feedback they needed from me, rather than waiting for me.
