Yesterday I went on a Secret Stroll with a group of friends and family. Some of us have lived in Liverpool for many years, one was returning after a long absence and one was a visitor from London. We all enjoyed the tour and we all learnt things we didn’t know. Fran pitched the information and stories just right for all of us, she was friendly and relaxed while at the same time making sure we were coping with the heat ( it was a very hot day) and keeping safe when crossing roads!

We joined a number of friends for a Liverpool Storyteller walk yesterday. Fran was a charming, amenable guide who was able to share her considerable and detailed knowledge of the famous and less famous landmarks in a relaxed and informative way. We all thoroughly enjoyed the walk and would certainly recommend Fran to visitors to Liverpool and also to local people, who wish to gain a clearer insight into their home city. Thank you Fran, a most enjoyable guided walk and thank you looking after us all, as it was a very hot day.

I booked a secret stroll for Father's Day and it was such a lovely experience. Fran is professional, patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time looking at things from a new perspective and learning stories and facts. Despite having lived here for nearly 20 years, Fran made it feel even more special. I really look forward to doing another guided tour and definitely recommend! Thank you, Fran!

I booked a tour as a surprise to celebrate my husband’s special birthday We met with Fran who had taken time to learn about the special places in our 51 years together.
Fran was amazing, her knowledge and passion for Liverpool shone throughout the walk we shared.
She made our day very special and added to our brilliant memories of our life together in Liverpool.

Just finished a wonderfully informative tour with Fran. Gorgeous Saturday afternoon exploring the city and seeing well know sights and locations though learning their hidden histories lesser-known stories. Lovely surprise to receive the email two days before the tour to find out our secret location to meet. Amazing value for money and Fran is super friendly and professional. My favourite part was learning about the Pineapples ;) Thankyou so much and highly recommend!

An unique look at Liverpool with so many interesting things we knew nothing about. Who knew pineapples were like gold dust for the rich! Fran was so entertaining and cannot recommend this tour enough. Looking for something a little different then this is it. Booked for June already . Can't wait

The Liverpool Storyteller tour is a wow and a must if you want to know more about the beautiful city of Liverpool, Fran kept us intrigued before our meeting day only telling us our meeting point and giving us a few little pointers on Liverpool...
There is only a small group so you also meet some lovely people too..
On our tour day the weather wasn't great but it didnt dampen our spirits as Fran is a brilliant guide and I am going again very soon with more friends ...

Wow, what an amazing secret stroll in Liverpool. This is an excellent tour and great value for money. Fran is the perfect tour guide.
We had a nice size group and the tour was jam packed with so many interesting facts about our city. I have learnt so much about the city that has been home to me for 65 years.
You can only hope for nice dry weather on a tour, unfortunately we had wet and cold weather, this did not dampen our spirits. Fran was so attentive, she made sure she included everybody and always asked if there were any questions and had no problem providing the answers.

This is definitely a ‘must tour’ for residents of our city and for visitors to our great city. All the tours have a theme, so it’s a different experience for each one. I am looking forward to my next tour.

I will be sharing this experience with family and friends and encouraging them to book a tour with Fran.

What a tour! Amazing knowledge this lady has of Liverpool. She took time to answer questions from our group and was incredibly patient. Loads of interesting facts I learnt from the city I’ve grown up in. I’ve done city tours all over the world but never in my home town, I urge people to do it as it’s fascinating. Nothing was too much trouble and the walk was at a pace that was relaxed and enjoyable. And worth every penny. Thank you Fran x

Fran was excellent! What a wonderful secret stroll in Liverpool. A big group of us were taken around the city on a Saturday morning. It was wet and windy but the weather didn’t dampen our spirits and Fran certainly kept the group going with all her amazing facts (how do you remember it all) It was a pleasure to learn so much more about Liverpool. It was an interesting and fascinating couple of hours walking around listening to Fran’s facts and insights. Fran looked after everyone, making sure everyone kept up and was included. The tour was excellent value for money and a must do tour for those wishing to know a bit more about the city, visitors and residents alike. I will be telling all my family and friends to book a tour with Fran as it was such an interesting and enjoyable event.

Fran was amazing! What a wonderful secret stroll around the city centre of Liverpool. 16 of us were taken around the city of a wet and windy Saturday morning, but there was nothing dismal about our tour. Fran brought to life the growth of the city from the opening of the first dry dock in the world, we heard facts about the 3 Graces and took in Matthew Street and the Fab Four. Having lived in the city all my life (over 60 years) I thought I knew a fair bit about its history, however, it was a pleasure to learn so much more. It was an interesting and fascinating couple of hours strolling around listening to Fran’s knowledge. Fran looked after us, making sure everyone was keeping up. The tour was excellent value for money and a must do tour for those wishing to know a bit more about the city, visitors and residents alike. I will be telling all my friends to book a tour with Fran as it was such an interesting and enjoyable event.

Such an interesting tour jam-packed with fascinating information, delivered in a relaxed style with no rush. Lived here for nearly 80 years yet Fran managed to tell us lots of things about our own City that we didn't know.

Had a wonderfully interesting walking tour around Liverpool, discovering all the great 'firsts' for Liverpool around the city, taking in all the history, architecture and culture over the centuries. Fran was amazing in keeping it all so interesting and surprising me with so many facts and fun information. Looking at the city in a different way from now on! Well done Fran and thank you so much.

Had a wonderful tour around Liverpool city centre today, thanks to Fran, very knowledgeable guide who provided so much history, facts and figures to embellish our tour. Who knew the river Mersey used to flow almost to John Lewis’s front door? Lovely to meet Bella and Bertie, Liverpool’s iconic Liverpool birds, marvel at the three Graces; port of Liverpool, Cunard and liver Buildings. So much information about Churches, Cathedrals, Chinatown to take in. Loved visiting Mathew Street the birth place of the Cavern. Cilla had us singing “Step Inside” one of the many songs as a group we couldn’t resist. Ending the tour after a visit to the town hall, exchange flags, St John’s gardens, St George’s hall and the beautiful buildings on William Brown St left me hungry to visit this beautiful City very soon. Thank you Fran, you were spot on, how you retain all that information and keep it interesting for your group was wonderful. Wishing you much success in your new venture.

This was such an interesting walking tour, around and then from the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral down to the riverside, along the river frontage to historic civic buildings, up to the Town Hall and over to Mathew Street. Lots of history I knew nothing about and my guests from the US found fascinating. Fran is the perfect guide, full of all sorts of information, stories and human interest.

Fran gave us a very informative tour of Liverpool one and the docks area. I have lived in Liverpool for nearly 10 years and I learnt so much that I didn't know.
I couldn't recommend the Liverpool Storyteller enough, it was excellent and I plan to do another of her tours soon.

What a fantastic way to explore the city of Liverpool! Fran was so friendly, hugely knowledgeable and engaging (especially with two teenagers!) and we spent an amazing couple of hours wandering the city and learning about the history of some of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings.
