Billing discrepancy ignored 4 times — cancelled after $2,500+ spent
Long-time customer, over $2,500 spent with The Man Shake — until now. Raised a billing discrepancy with their subscription team (Order Total showing $133.59, actually charged $161.87) and got silence. This was the 4th time I've contacted them about the exact same issue, going back weeks. Every enquiry through their own contact form has simply been ignored.
No explanation, no acknowledgement, nothing. I've now cancelled my subscription and won't be buying from them again. If you're on a subscription with these guys, keep a close eye on what you're actually being charged versus what's advertised — and don't expect a response if something doesn't add up.

Long time supporter of The Man Shake. I recently bought the new flavor Cola. The taste is undrinkable and I can't imagine what test group would approve a sickly sweet drink that makes the all the hairs stand up on my body because of the vial taste.
I have no way of taste testing the product before purchase so I was surprised to find out I could not get a credit or refund.
What ever happened to good old customer service?

Have been using The Man Shake on and off for a while. Always get great results, feel really full between meals and the flavours are great.

I mix the shakes with more water than they recommend to get the texture I like (450ml) and find them very easy to drink.

The new flavours are fantastic especially the mixed berries, and I even tried the chicken soup which was great for lunch with cooler weather set it.

My most recent order came much faster than usual as well which was a pleasant surprise.

I have to tell you I am not impressed. These guys do NOT have any form of money-back guarantee! Companies that stand by their products almost always have a GUARANTEE!

Shakes: Firstly, so much powder flies up in the air every time I open the bag - half the kitchen was covered in dust. I must be breathing all that in too! Never known any protein/meal replacement powder to be so light & fly all over the place.

They taste so chemically. The artificial sweetener is awful & doesn't taste "full-bodied". And it leaves the most horrid, metallic aftertaste. The shakes are also soooo thick, it's like drinking really thick custard or gravy. Everybody loves a thick milkshake....but this is way too thick. And the choc taste is also not "full-bodied" - it is a very watery choc flavour.

For the 2nd shake, I added a fraction more water so it wasn't so thick, but that just made it taste even more watery, even though the consistency was still like really thick gravy/custard. The choc aftertaste was revolting along with the artificial sweetener.

I did try a Choc Berry protein bar & that was amazing - I really like those. But I dunno if/how I will get through 4 bags of shakes twice a day. I'm curious to try the other flavours, but if the consistency is going to be so chokingly thick, with hideous flavours and the revolting aftertaste, I am very hesitant to open anything else. I might go back to my usual products. I'd rather support an Aussie company....but I'm not a fan of The Man Shake. And as much as I love to reduce impact on the environment, I dislike the soft plastic packets of powder. I prefer a hard plastic powder bottle - even if they cost a tad more. I would be happy to get REFILLS in soft plastic (for a lower price).

I contacted Customer Service to enquire about a refund on un-opened product. I got every excuse why I should keep the product. When I asked more questions about a refund, they went silent on me!

Protein bars get my approval. The Man Shake does not! And the company as a whole, I would avoid!
