nine8 It happens. The fabric was also not what I expected. It happens. However, it took 4 months to get the jacket I ordered an XS and received X Large or XXLarge. It's huge!! I contacted them on this number . I was very pleased with the conversation. I found them to be exceptionally helpful. I also received a super quick service

Total scam. They advertise "easy" and "hassle-free" returns on their website. When I received the jacket, which didn't fit or meet my quality standards, I didn't see any return labels or information in the package--not even the company name so I could look it up online. I put it to the side, then when I had time, researched my emails to find the receipt. When found the company name & reached out for a return label, they imposed a draconian 7-day return policy. When you don't include any return information with the product, the returns are not "hassle-free." Total scam

Do not purchase from this retailer. I bought two linen shirts, which when I tried to return them they said I had send them to their return center in Italy at my cost, which they would reimburse. Really? I returned the shirts using the return address in the US that was on the package. After not receiving a credit they said since I had not returned them to Italy the package was probably destroyed and thus they could not issue a credit. Scam.

Fit was more perfect than I thought it would be! I'll be getting more. I bought it for a trip and it was amazing! It was super windy in the picture

Ordered coat, it arrived huge and I didn’t like it. Customer service (when you get them) said I must mail back to Italy to receive credit. Really? Spent $25 sending coat there and then some idiot returned it to me from their NJ address. No rationale with the customer service people. TOTAL SCAM * AVOID * DO NOT BUY! They also go by other names out of the same NJ address, The Windbreaker Jacket, Nord Store, etc....

My mother bought a jacket from this place, it was terrible quality and didn't fit correctly, and now we have been unable to reach the company in any way for a refund. They don't answer the phone, they don't reply to emails, their "24/7 Chat Function" is turned off. We are just out $90 because we can't get a refund. This company is a huge scam and should be shut down.

Avoid at all costs!! Ordered a coat that was way too small. Tried to return it but they wanted it returned to Italy for a $95 shipping fee. Scam company!!!

I ordered a jacket that was way to big. It happens. The fabric was also not what I expected. It happens. However, it took from February to May to get my money back ONLY after paying $34.20 to ship the very light jacket to Italy!!!! I did a Google street view and it looked like a small store front. So, I chatted with their online Chat asking if this address was legit and complaining that the product was shipped to me in Pennsylvania from New Jersey and now I have to mail it to Italy! If you look at their return policy it is very vague and certainly does not provide a return address to Italy. I don't recommend purchasing from them and will investigate return policies up front from now on.

Do not place your trust in this sham of a company! I bought two sweatshirts that were too big and not warm. I had to ship them to Italy, which cost more than half of the purchase price. After that, they insisted I had done everything incorrectly (though I sent them photos of everything I’d done) including claiming that I hadn’t sent it to Italy! I cannot overemphasize how aggravating this entire process was. Even worse, with every email, they acted like they were actually helping me. In the end, they refused to take back the product.

I ordered the mauve coat that they keep advertising. It took forever to get it (weeks) maybe from China? I ordered an XS and received X Large or XXLarge. It's huge!! I contacted them and they said that their sizes are on the website and they wouldn't take it back unless it was damaged. They are playing off the Nordstrom name and are a rip off!!!

BUYER BEWARE....DON’T order from this company. I blame ordering late at night and not figuring out that something wasn’t quite right. If I can keep a few people from ordering from this company then it will give me some satisfaction. I am out $184 (for two coats), I didn’t know what size would work. I will echo what others have said. Items received were not as expected (cheap, flimsy, plastic windbreaker), not what was shown on their website. Total BAIT AND SWITCH. I called the company out on it too. Arranged for a return and after jumping through many, many hoops: taking pictures of the items, and packaging (that were necessary apparently before shipping back the products), went to UPS and was told that it would cost $150 to $200 to ship back.

The item shipped is not what was expected. Asked to return the product and they provide me with an address in Italy to return the product too. Very disappointed. Cost more to return the product than it was to buy it.

Although I missed the timeframe of 7 days to return due to unexpected travel out of town, they would not consider exchanging for a smaller size. The jacket was HUGE. I didn’t anticipate a need for a smaller size and frankly didn’t think about this package being sent to that address. I understand no returns but an EXCHANGE?!?! The material feels plastic. I would never order from them again.

Don't purchase from The Nord Store unless you know upfront that you will keep the items. If you need to return items, you will have to return them to Italy. The cost to do so was so high that I just kept the items. I think that they count on that! Additionally, two of the items that I purchased were NOT representative of the sizes given online. It took almost two months to receive the items. Even though the return label said NJ, I think it came from Italy. Finally, the Nord Store is NOT Nordstrom. Nordstrom's philosophy about customers, customer service, and returns is the exact opposite of The Nord Store.

I wish I had checked this page before ordering a coat from them. It was too large (despite my sizing down as instructed) and I have been trying to contact them about a return — they advertise a return policy. No response from them. I have emailed 3 times, messaged them on Instagram, and called, when I would get the message that all their lines are busy and the phone would then go dead. My one-week window for a return is nearly over and I have heard nothing at all from them. And I see from other reviews that if I do return the coat, I will have to pay international shipping.
Update: after I posted a negative review on Facebook, they got in touch with me via email. I was able to return the coat. BUT I had to ship it to ITALY via USPS, and the cheapest method cost nearly half what I paid for the coat. When they say they accept returns but the buyer must pay return shipping, they do not disclose that the return shipping is international. I think that this comes close to fraud. I would advise to avoid this company!

Phones don’t work and They denied receiving emails or request to return item though I did through link on site and also by reply. Finally answered when I blasted them on Facebook. Three more steps to get return info and it then turns out that all returns must be made not to the US but to Italy!!!! Total scam.

It’s a racket. Ordered shoes. Realized my mistake when after weeks the shipping update said they had entered the USA. Received shoes in about a month. Were obviously European size. Return address was Culver City,CA. Turned out return would be through Italy. No refund and I believe email messages are from a bot. Don’t fall for them appearing to be Nordstrom.

I ordered the lightweight jacket according to the size chart and it was way too large. I started a refund and mailed the jacket back on February 6, 2021. Here it is April 24th and I've yet to receive my refund. Of course I had to pay $36 to return it. I did not know it was going to SPAIN! I would never have purchased it from overseas. What a scam. Don't ever buy from this store. I'm out $136 for a coat I don't have. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

I wish I could give Nord no stars but had to choose one to write a review. This company is a scam. Waited 5 weeks for item which when finally delivered smelled badly. Tried for a week to contact them to return item - no reply to emails, phone calls disconnected and no working link to chat online. Finally sent message through Facebook and told no returns after 7 days. I wish I had read these reviews before purchase. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE NOT REPUTABLE.

Wish you had an option for no stars. This company is terrible. I ordered a rain jacket thinking I was ordering from Nordstrom which is what they lead you to believe. Ordered a small and it is at least an xxl. The quality is terrible. The charged my credit card 6 weeks before I actually received the jacket and have refused to let me return or issue a refund. Awful experience, total scam company
