Shipping is a 1 month+ wait

It’s not like me to leave bad reviews but I’ll keep it short because my refund was finally issued and resolved.

I never got to the point of seeing the panels because I ended up cancelling my order a little over 3wks after I placed it, so I can’t say anything about them. Just know that if you’re on a time crunch and are going based off of their website which says shipping is quick, don’t. You probably won’t get your panels for at least a month.

I wouldn’t have been so upset if I knew ahead of time and had been given the opportunity to plan accordingly. Also note that the tracking they give you doesn’t get updated ever. And if you ask about it, they’ll just send you the link again without explanation.

I was finally able to cancel my order (after exactly 8 days of emailing back and forth), and my refund was issued. So, at the very least, I gave 3 stars because they did continuously respond.

Ordered two wall panels from panel hub

Ordered two wall panels from panel hub. They were half the price of B+Q and the same quality.
The delivery was amazing, I was out when they came but the delivery driver put the panels safely in the garage for me. My wife who was at home said that the driver was polite and courteous.
Would recommend and would definitely use again.

Choose another company

The product itself seems fine (although the smoked oak is not as black as it appears in pictures) but | haven't installed it yet so can't speak to quality. The shipping and customer experience however were awful. The site makes it seem like you'll get the product 2-5 days which was not anywhere near reality for me. I ordered on Jan 5, received a shipping notification on the 15th and didn't receive my order until February 6th—a 23 days shipping process, a full month from order to delivery. And the tracking leaves much to be desired. The shipping/tracking email looked like a phishing email—it didn't even come from a Panel Hub account. I had to reach out to ensure I could click on the link safely. And in the tracking, it just appeared to sit in warehouses for days on end and customer service just said this is the normal process and could give me no real idea of when it would actually move and arrive to me. In fact, they kept telling me the delivery company would call to set up a time for delivery when it was actually in my city, but they just showed up at my doorstep, no advanced warning-thankfully I was home. All I wanted was an explanation of why the shipping took so long and they could give no reason. If you're in a hurry to get these and want transparent shipping, this is not the company to order from. I also used their panel estimator and it was off so I am stuck with an extra box I need to return and it appears it's going to take as long to coordinate a return as it did for me to receive my product. The customer service is very slow and very unclear and now I've discovered their billing is also unclear. The most robust receipt I got from them said my product subtotal was $557.20, shipping $0 and total $607.50. There is no indication what the extra $50.30 charges are. My assumption is tax but in the refund process they insist that my refund total is only drawn from the product total so either they slipped in some undisclosed fees or they are trying not to refund my tax on returned goods which I don't think is legal. Either way, this company just seems like a shady, poorly run start up. No clarity. no transparency. Attentive customer service to get you to order and then very slow moving customer service to handle any real issues which there have been plenty.

Solid value for the money

I’m setting up my music studio and wanted acoustic slat wall panels that actually make a difference. I went with The Panel Hub and so far I’m happy with it.

The biggest thing I noticed is the room sounds tighter and less echo-y, especially when I’m tracking vocals and mixing. The panels feel solid, and the install was pretty straightforward. They came in sections for shipping, but once they’re up you don’t really notice the seams , solid value for the money.

I ordered the American Acoustic Slat Wood Wall Panels in Golden Oak back in November and they arrived in early January. I was honestly worried about damage during shipping, but the packaging was excellent and everything arrived in perfect condition without any scratches.

The material feels very high-quality and smooth, but the best part is definitely the Golden Oak color. It looks so beautiful and fits my studio perfectly. It really upgraded the whole look of the room.

I don’t have any carpentry skills at all, but I was actually able to install these all by myself at home. It was surprisingly easy to do, and the customer service team was great at giving me some tips to get started. I’m so proud of how it turned out. If you’re looking for something that looks professional but is easy to set up, these are perfect.

I’ve been waiting close to 45 days to get a tracking number.

After calling customer support and emailing half a dozen times I got an update that the walnut panels I ordered are on back order and aren’t expected to ship until the end of the January—not at all what the website said when I ordered.

I have requested to cancel the order and receive a refund and they just keep giving me the run around about it both on the phone and through email. I don’t see the problem given the order hasn’t shipped yet.

This company seems like a scam at this point. I’ll update this if they honor my request for a refund.

UPDATE 1/20:
After emailing customer service this review last week I was able to secure a refund which appeared in my account today.

Overall, it seems like their website is making delivery promises they can't meet and failing to communicate that to customers. Their customer service line lied to me multiple times when I called to ask about a tracking number, then lied to me about their refund policy. I basically had to extort them with this review and the threat of more before they took my refund request seriously.

Then I received an apology and they offered a 10% discount! lol--to which I said no thanks, then they offered 40% off--to which I said no thanks, then they finally said they would refund my order, and wanted to know if I would update or change the review once I got the refund. So, I can't in good conscious recommend doing business with them, and I can't comment on the actual product.

However, I did get a refund and an apology. So, I'm going to update my review to two stars.

Updated: Terrible service, terrible product and I'm not sure the company even exists

I ordered the Slat Walnut Wood Wall Panel and LED Light Strips in April 2025. The LED strips were on back order so they were going to be delivered later. When I received the wood panels they looked cheap and I didn't like them. Instead of a nice veneer on the face of the wood slats they were just pressed layers. I tried to return the panels but it was going to be more expensive to return than what the cost was. Then I cancelled the LED strips that never arrived and asked for a refund. After sending 15 emails and calling their support in India 10 times over the last month I still haven't been able to reach anyone that knows anything or get a refund. I'm still waiting after 45 days and I am pissed.

Here is an update: It is now 60 days since I've requested a refund for the LED lighting that never arrived. I got an email promising that I would get this refund, but of course, there has not been a refund and all of the emails come back with a standard reply that they will get "back to me shortly". Still pissed

Here is an update: On 7/10/25 after multiple strongly worded emails I was able to get a refund for the lighting. I'm stuck with the panels, because they are too big to return but I might be able to sell them on the market. Due to getting a refund I'll update to 2 stars.

Update: On 9/12/25 I met with someone from the offshore service center that seems like it is related to company and they gathered some information. Not sure if it will make a difference because it was mostly someone reading from a script, but I also got an additional refund. It was still a pain to take the time to deal with but I did receive some funds back.

They took my money and sent me nothing/ won’t communicate

I no purchased $700+ worth of panels on 8/31. I received one email from the company saying I earned x number of points. I received another from AmazonPay saying the payment went through and could see it in my statement.

After about a week with no updates or other communication, I reached out via the customer support email address and received no response. A few days later I called the phone number listed on the website and it went straight to voicemail. I left a voicemail and have no had a response. I used the chat feature in the website and there was no one on the other end. I found another email address for the company and did get a brief response saying they would look into my situation. I sent follow up emails a few days later and nothing. It is approaching one month since my order and I think these guys took my money.

I can’t understand how their rating is so high on TrustPilot. I am trying to get my money back from Amazon and they are being very unhelpful.

Buyer beware!!

These panels have been great

These panels have been great. Finish is nice and smooth. Panels are very square, installation went very well. I used liquid nails for paneling to install with good results. Don’t stick painters tape to these it will peel up a bit of the panel. Looks great, no problems.

I used this products in my bathroom

I used this products in my bathroom. Gave myself plenty of time to do the project and everything went great. The planks stick extremely tight to the floor. I have another bathroom to do in a few weeks and I will buy some more.
