Paul moved my furniture and belongings into storage for me. He was helpful and friendly from the first contact; even when I had to change the date at short notice, he did everything he could to accommodate me. Issues arose but Paul solved every one. I loved his "can-do" attitude!

He and his crew, Brian and Adam, worked well together, their speed and care inspired confidence, and I appreciated their humour throughout.

When I'm ready to pull the stuff out of storage, this company will be the first I ask. Go with these guys - you'll be pleased you did!

Used Van About Town to move a large table and 10 chairs as needed a large vehicle in order to fit. Quick, efficient and friendly service. Well worth it as eliminated all hassle trying to organise the move myself!

Have used this company before and they’re always on time, efficient and inexpensive. Far easier than hiring a van, asking friends for help and probably damaging your furniture in the process. These guys are professional, use them.

I can’t recommend Paul and his team highly enough. They took charge of our move from London to Suffolk, making what could have been a pretty stressful day quite the opposite. All furniture was carefully and efficiently packed into the van, nothing was damaged. Moving house can be a nightmare, thanks to the van about town crew this was not the case for us.

I used The Van about Town for a commercial move I found the website easy to navigate and accept the quote. They were reasonably priced compared with other quotes received.
Arrived on time (even moved a few jobs around to be there a little earlier!). We had a tight turnaround and Paul and his team were very efficient and helpful. They even removed some fixed items from the walls for us and arranged for items to be disposed of.
i would definitely recommend them and if i were moving again that area i would use them again.

So glad I used Paul to move a large heavy riser/recliner chair from Margate to Norfolk. He arrived bang on time and went out of his way to reassemble it the other end for a disabled friend. Highly recommend his services.
