From 2020 to 2024, I poured my heart and dedication into The Wave Podcasting, an agency I was truly proud to represent. Working alongside the founder, I felt I was part of a company committed to high quality, accessible podcasting services that created opportunities for women in a traditionally male-dominated industry. The culture was collaborative, the work was fulfilling, and the mission resonated deeply with my own values.

Everything changed when Dudley Peacock acquired the company. The agency quickly unraveled under his leadership. The shift wasn't just in ownership, but in the very ethos of the organization. The mission that had once guided our work was abandoned virtually overnight.

The chaos that ensued was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Dudley Peacock, who lacks even a basic understanding of podcast production or management, approached the business as if it were simply a vehicle for his various other ventures (Q&A ERP Solutions, Leverage Flo, Skilful Pursuit, and Irreplaceable Choice). It became clear that he viewed The Wave Podcasting primarily as a source of ready-made staff and recurring income rather than a business with its own identity and purpose.

As weeks turned to months, financial issues mounted. Staff members, myself included, began experiencing payment delays. What started as "just a few days" stretched into weeks, with constant reassurances that money was "on the way" or that we were simply going through a "rough patch" during growth. I found myself in the impossible position of trying to manage a team that wasn't being paid while relaying promises about forthcoming payments that never materialized. To this day, I am owed $7,083.32 in unpaid wages, and I know other staff members and even clients are in similar situations.

Team members who had once been passionate about their work became demoralized and anxious. All the while, Dudley Peacock seemed to operate in an alternate reality, focused on surging prices, AI-generated marketing plans, and expecting unwavering loyalty despite increasing evidence that he should not be trusted.

Within five months, all nine staff members had resigned. Client retention suffered dramatically, with many choosing to follow departing team members or find a new provider. What's particularly telling is that every client testimonial and work example currently displayed on the company website is from from before Dudley Peacock's acquisition—a silent testament to how little he’s been able to deliver on the premium value and expertise he promises.

I share this experience not out of spite, but as a caution to others who might consider working with, for, or alongside Dudley Peacock or his associated ventures. My hope is that by speaking honestly about my experience, I might help others avoid similar disappointment and financial hardship. If you're considering any professional relationship with The Wave Podcasting or its affiliated businesses under current management, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

I was 4 days away from the relaunch of my podcast from being on hiatus in over a year and the 2 year anniversary when I first started it. I was extremely picky about the quality and I was unhappy with the final product a previous editor had sent me.

I'm so grateful for Carolina and Gretchen who took editing and providing a high quality sound on such a tight deadline for me. Carolina was very great at communicating to me what she needed to make my re-launch a success and Gretchen was there to assure me we could get it done in time.

Working with Lauren and her team at The Wave Podcasting was a breeze from start to finish. When browsing the website I loved the slider toggle feature that allowed me to see what my pricing would be right off the bat. I quickly got onto Lauren's calendar for a discovery call where she answered all of my questions. After the call I knew we were the right fit, and I purchased new cover art for my podcast along with show description and keywords. Lauren's team sent the most succinct onboarding survey that took less than 10 minutes to complete where they were able to collect my brand colors, fonts, and get a feel for my brand identity. Lauren's team was so quick to send first drafts of the work and answered my questions and responded to my requests so quickly. At the end of it all, I'm walking away with new podcast cover art and a show description that shows that they "really get me." They were highly attuned to my personality, my audience, and my mission. I highly recommend Lauren and her team for all of your podcasting needs, and I can't wait to hire The Wave for more projects in the future.

When I needed a new editor for my podcast I wasn't sure where to turn. My brother suggested that I contact The Wave. After speaking with one of their team I decided to give their services a try. It's been 2 years now and I couldn't be happier. They are responsive to my needs, I've always gotten my episodes back in the time frame agreed upon, when I've needed additional edits they are made quickly. It's been a completely positive experience and takes the weight of worrying about this critical piece of the process off my mind.

I’ve been using The Wave to produce my podcast for the past few years, and I’ve always had an excellent experience with them. My audio is produced on time exactly how I ask, and any extra edits I ask for are done quickly. It’s only ever small issues like I want the volume changed, but whatever I request they’re quick and polite about making the changes. IG’s also incredibly affordable, the minutes roll over each month, you get a designated producer who gets to know your show, and it’s all run for women by women. Love love love it!
