I contacted Thomas Damp Surveys as I was concerned about possible damp in my home. Stephen came out promptly and carried out a really thorough inspection inside, outside, and in the roof space.

He clearly knows his stuff, and although some of the technical details went over my head, he explained things in a way that was easy to understand. I received a clear, well-written report very quickly, with photos included.

Most importantly, he reassured me that there was no damp issue and nothing major needed doing, which was a huge relief. A very professional and reassuring service.

Received a great service from Stephen from start to finish. He took the time to telephone me before he visited to understand my concerns, and arranged a visit to suit my schedule. He was incredibly thorough when carrying out the survey, and even before he had completed the report, he was able to put my mind at rest around the very minor work required. The very detailed report was sent to me the evening of the visit, and the cost of the survey was very reasonable. I am so pleased I decided to ask Stephen to carry out the survey for me, he has been clear on the work I don't need to have done, so I can proceed with the limited work that he has recommended. I would 100% recommend Thomas Damp if you want sensible, reasonable and no nonsense advice. It also helps that Stephen is a thoroughly nice chap.

I instructed Thomas Damp surveys to carry out a damp inspection following a leak from guttering and a bathroom in my home which had been left longer than ideal.
