Tyler was a great dispatcher when it came to the communication about my SUV. He communicated with my husband about the transport, time and driver while they were transporting my SUV from Florida to my home in Georgia. We highly recommended them. L&C Auto Carrier Corp was the driver and they handled my SUV with care. Made it to my house without a scratch!

Please read this carefully before choosing Titan Movers.

Based on my recent experience, never pay anything upfront and read their contract very carefully. Titan Movers operates a bait-and-switch scam.

I was contacted by a representative named Tyler S.
Phone numbers used: 540-755-3509 and 804-944-8850.

I was initially quoted $1,300 for car transport. I was asked to pay an upfront deposit of $300 + $16 transaction fee via a link. Tyler pressured me to sign the contract quickly while staying on the phone, giving me no real chance to read it properly.

After my car was picked up, they changed the terms and demanded: This time I asked him to send updated invoice because my previous invoice has a changed. But he ignored.
After picking up my car he kept calling me and asked

Another $300 + transaction fee, and

$1,000 cash to the driver,
instead of the originally agreed $1000 to the driver.

When I questioned this sudden price change, I was told to “read the contract” and was threatened that my car would be held or placed in storage if I didn’t pay. This was extremely stressful and felt like blackmail.

Because of their repeated price changes and misleading communication, I was forced to cancel my original order (household items + car) and proceed with only the car, which caused me financial loss and emotional distress.

I have all call recordings from day one and every text message showing how the price was changed multiple times and how I was pressured. Even when mistakes were clearly on their end, they refused to take responsibility.

This company caused me severe anxiety and stress. Their contract is written in a way that protects them while trapping customers. I deeply regret not reading earlier reviews before trusting them.

I am planning to file a police report and pursue legal action with all evidence I have. I hope my experience helps others avoid going through the same ordeal.

I recently shipped two cars from Florida to California. Initially, I placed my order with a well-known company in the industry that had positive reviews. However, after booking, they raised the price twice, which was very frustrating.

That’s when I started looking for another company and Tyler Smith from Titan Movers reached out to me. At first, I was hesitant because I saw a few negative reviews and wasn’t fully comfortable moving forward. Still, I decided to give them a chance and I’m really glad I did.
Titan Movers provided the best service I could have asked for. Communication was clear, pricing stayed honest, and everything was handled professionally from pickup to delivery. The entire process went smoothly without any stress.

This company is a scam. They will tell you one price, get your vehicle and hike the price double the price. I even asked specifically ALL charges even any hidden ones and they still quoted the same original price. Once they pick up your vehicle they then call you to ask for double. You have no other choice but to pay it since they had our car already. When I asked why the price increase was not disclosed prior to pick up, he said I wouldn't have went with their offer if he would have told me the true total price. That was the only thing he was honest about. His name was Jerry I believe.

Worst experience so far with Titan Movers located in Woodbridge VA.

Bought a car last week in ID from Auto-traders and wanted to ship it to CA where I live. John Wilson texted me after I requested a quote online and said on Thursday they can do it for $750 and said pick up would be “Tomorrow”. He sends me a link, which showed an initial payment of $160. I finished the link, which only had my name, email, phone number, and the amount of $160 on it.

I text him Friday to see if there was a pick up time, but he ignored me. I text him Saturday am and ask the same, and he says he’s still working on it and then updates later on in the day and says driver will pick up between 8 to 9 pm, but the driver was asking $1699 on delivery.

I texted him that I will not pay anything more than the $750. He texts back saying everything was in the “Paperwork” and I told him there was no paperwork and he never sent me any. I told him to cancel and tried to get other companies but they said because of Titan Movers order on the board (Which I could not see), no other company will take a cheaper rate.

John kept on texting and even apologized for NOT telling me to read “The paperwork” and to give him a chance to get me a “Huge discount”. I text him back and tell him to make it happen and get my car picked up (Two and half days now of waiting).

John texts me a short time later that one driver will give a $400 discount and I would pay $1200 to the driver on delivery, with a pick up on Monday and drop off on Wednesday. He texted me another link, which showed an updated amount of $1350. I ask why it’s $1350 and not $1200, and he responds with its $1200 on delivery, not including my initial payment of $160 (But he says it was $150).

At this point, I just want the car and tell this scammer to get it picked up Monday, which a driver did early afternoon. So far, I’m thinking I’m paying $1360 (John think it’s $1350).

Today, Wednesday, I get a text and a call. John says while we’re on the phone that he sent me a text message with another payment link. I open it up and see a total of $2000. I flipped out on the phone and this is the first time this scammer mentions an $800 brokers fees. I remind this scammer I have all of the text messages and he never told me about an extra fees, on top of the initial $750, and then nothing on top of the $1360.

I asked for a supervisor and hung up on him. When the supervisor called me back, he started referencing this “Paperwork” that I never saw. I ended up hanging up on him because he’s obviously taking the scammers side.

I called the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint but that didn’t do much. Scammer kept saying I had to pay or else they couldn’t finish the deliver. I texted back and fourth with the scammer and told him he never told me about an brokers fees. He then says he’ll give me a $300 discount and charge me $1700, instead of $2000. I kept arguing with him but he was pretty much holding my car as ransom until I paid the full $1700 (Plus the $160 I already paid).

At the end of the night, 7 pm came and my car was still not here. Scammer kept sending a link and saying to “Sign the paperwork”. I had no choice but to sign the payment in order to get my car delivered. At this point, I don’t even know where it is.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMER and this company. Again, Titan Movers Trucking out of Woodbridge VA.

I had a terrible experience with Switch and Baid Car Shipment, and I strongly advise others to stay away. From the beginning, the communication was poor, with delayed responses and vague answers regarding my car's status. They initially promised a specific delivery timeframe, but my vehicle arrived weeks late with no proper updates or accountability.

The worst part? When my car finally arrived, it had noticeable scratches and minor dents, which were definitely not there before shipping. When I tried to raise a complaint, customer service was unhelpful and refused to take responsibility. They kept passing the blame and avoided any compensation or even a proper explanation.

Additionally, the pricing was misleading. They quoted one price initially but added unexpected fees at the last minute, leaving me with no choice but to pay more than I had budgeted.

Overall, Switch and Baid lacks professionalism, transparency, and proper customer service. If you care about your vehicle and your money, stay far away and choose a more reputable shipping company.

Would never use them again! 🚨👎
