has to be up there with the best model shops in the country, they have just about everything a model shop could have , models, spares,paints, coverings,batteries,glues,balsa,and everything else in between.always happy to help and advise with a smile,very dedicated team.if it,s not in stock they will order it for you within a couple of days.carry on the great service guys.

I come in frequently and leave with a smile every time. The level of service encountered is like none other. A true Rolls Royce of a shop. I never leave without a couple plastic kits to add to the collection, but it never stops at plastic kits. RC everything! Competitive - Fast - Communication

John and the team are always friendly and offer great advice. No matter how many questions you ask they always have a helpful answer and never loose their patience!

my first time going to tjd models, (21/01/2023) i wanted my kids to experience going into a model shop and buying there first rc, like when i used to go in the 90s.

the level of service and kindness from the staff was out of this world, they interacted with my kids and took time opening the boxes for them to look at the cars.

there level of knowledge is out of this world they know what there selling and can answer any questions you ask about the rc.

i also found tjd models to be competitive on pricing and in my case cheaper then other online retailers.

Popped into the shop on Saturday morning with my grandson for a look around. Ended up leaving with an RC car and a very happy grandson!

Will definitely be back!

i ordered a part from TJD models on saturday 6th of this month i telephoned on the Wednesday the 10th and was told that they were waiting for it to be delivered and it would be out to me by Tuesday i did not get a phone from them until i contacted them they said they did not have the item in stock and due to people of and short staffed it got missed with only a sorry it should not have happened and on Wednesday i Telephoned TJD models telling them it has not arrived they said they pay for next day with APC and should have been out Wednesday they called APC to complain and awaiting a call back thats the last i have heard from TJD models my will arrive today between 2 to 430 pm i have now lost 3 days of work due to waiting on my drone part

I have been using TJD Models for a considerable time now, at least 10 years, and in that time I have never experienced anything near to what you could call "bad service". I find the staff very helpful and John has always been exceptionally welcoming and cheerful. So just keep doing what you do, because what you do, you do very well. Thank you.

I popped in with my dad's model boat looking for a new rudder. After chatting, we walked away with the same rudder but a much better mechanism to move the rudder, keeping the boat looking as it should.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Even though we turned up close to closing time, they still spent time discussing our problem and helping.

A few days later, we decided to upgrade the remote control transmitter and went back. Again the service was brilliant, and they spent time helping buy the best remote control for what we wanted.

Thank you for the help you have provided. I didn’t know much when my dad first asked for help; the staff helped me understand better.

I've only just started using them,but they have been so helpful,nothing is too much for them to do for you.I will be using them again and again.

Ordered 3x lipo batteries. They have sent via APC couriers.
Initial tracking info, but no delivery.
Have emailed TJD models twice now, but no replies, just ignoring my emails or request for where they are.
Apc phone just ringing off.
Very bad service, and now considering just refusing them at the door. First time I have bought over the web from them and will be the last. I cannot wait to see them at a model show this next year.#

Second attempt at using this company, again met with disappointment, I called to ask of they had a hubsan x4 122d in stock the young lad said yes I'm looking at one now, I got in a cab to go and pick it up only to be told when I got there its special order. Thanks for wasting my time and money good job.

I have used this shop many times and am always pleased,and happy how they good customer service, thanks.

So, looking for a replacement RC car for my son after a failed Amazon Christmas present and he picked out the Tamiya MK2 Ford escort kit. TJD had the product £15 cheaper than all the other online stores and on top of that offered free shipping. I ordered the item just after dinner time on Friday and received an email later that afternoon advising that the parcel had been shipped. My son asked me on the Monday morning how long it would take to come and I guessed at sometime within the week. Half 11 Monday morning delivered. I cannot fault the dispatch time and the service the parcel was sent on. The product came packed exceptionally well and it was 15 quid cheaper than anywhere else. Couldn't ask for better. Will definitely be using them again in the future for more rc parts.

My go to shop, always helpful and prices are always competitive. I have no problem in recommending this company to anyone. I have found many companies in this current epidemic will not answer there phones to help you out but I have always been able to speak to someone when I have needed to which is great customer service and goes a long way in my book.
