Tommy's Express Car Wash is one of three in my area. (Raeford Road, Fayetteville). I had been putting off getting her (Lexi) washed since dreading all the pollen, small wiggly tree remnants, and dead leaves. Not to mention the bird poop. My baby was being neglected. Finally decided today, with little sleep behind me, to check out Tommy's Express Car Wash. Max was great in explaining everything, including the policy for military discounts. He was as courteous as all the staff I encountered and seemed not to be bothered as I got to know the lay of the land in using the vacuum cleaner. It was free to use, and I really needed to restore my Accord to her former Diva status. Thank you, Max. I know that I will be returning again to have my chariot washed. Always very helpful to me. Sometimes my app doesn't want to work but they always come to my car & fix the problem for me. Shout out to Austin at the Lawrenceville, Georgia location. He asked if I needed help with while I was vacuuming my car & offered me a car deodorizer to hang in my car. Love that!! My clean car smells like it's at the beach. Tks Austin!!

Be careful. Tore my drivers windshield blade off. Went in to retrieve the blade. Only comment "things happen" "sorry" .

For the third time this year, I arrived at the Ranch Road 2222 location in Austin well before the posted closing hour, which is 8-8 Sunday - Monday. This evening, the street sign and interior lights were still on, but there was no one there. The entrance lanes were blocked and the car wash door was closed. In the three times I have experienced this situation, there was no sign or other explanation of the unscheduled closure. Calls to the manager go directly to voicemail with no response. Dude, FYI your employees are taking off early on a regular basis!

Brand new car in September. Car is now full of scratches. The scratches are so bad that I filed a claim. They refused to give me there insurance information. Don’t bring your car unless you want scratches!!! Dickson City Pa.

I have gone many times and my car is always very wet. Also, their prices are very high. The fact that they try to sell their "cleaning package" for $5 is ridiculous. Every other place has spray bottles and towels.

The entire back end of my Explorer was still very dirty after the wash - like they did not touch it at all

Their Lewis Center location did $1,900 damage to my brand-new car in 1 wash. Deep scratches and paint swirls on a car with first car wash, brand new with less than 1000 miles. They weaseled out of all accountability for the damage. Do not use this company nor go to any of their locations.

I don’t even want to give this place 1 star if I didn’t have to. Third time using the car wash the brushes used in the wash broke my side mirror. They stopped the car wash and I seen other peoples car parts on the floor. The owner did nothing to help. Instead he was rude and condescending.

After being a loyal member at Tommy’s Express Car Wash for over a year, I had a distressing experience at the Sawmill Road location in Powell, Ohio.

The wash stopped mid-cycle, and due to claustrophobia I experienced a panic attack. When I explained this to the employee, I was told: “Then you shouldn’t have been going through the car wash.” There was no apology or effort to help.

I also submitted a complaint and was told someone would follow up. No one ever did.

This led me to cancel my membership. I hope the company improves how it trains employees to handle customers in distress.

I’ve been a Works Plan member at the Missouri Ave & Rosery Rd Tommy’s location since it was built, and I’ve been consistently overcharged. I’ve been billed $46/month, even though the Tommy’s app clearly lists the Works Plan at $43.99/month. After more than two months of emailing support, nothing has been fixed.

Yesterday I was told by Tommy's representative (Dana) that the price is now $47.07, which contradicts the pricing shown in the app. Even if that new price is accurate, it doesn’t explain why I was overcharged for years when the listed price was lower. No one has offered any correction, refund, or accountability.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and the ongoing billing errors. This should not have been this hard to resolve.

Tommy's car Wash in fort Gratiot township in St Clair county is a joke. Staff Park there cars in the vacuum areas. Because they're too lazy to walk in the back parking lot. I mentioned something to the supervising staff on duty regarding this ongoing issue. because they were taking up too much of the vacuums. They purposely shut the vacuums off on me. Will never go back.

Significant Damage to My Vehicle

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at this car wash. My vehicle had just arrived on a trailer from Vancouver to the GTA. It was late in the evening and I only wanted the windows and mirrors cleaned so I could safely drive home in the dark. The car wash was conveniently close to the pickup lot, but the driver’s side of my car was very dirty from the transport, and I was concerned about running it through a wash in that condition.

The attendant assured me that it was completely safe, and was far more focused on trying to sell me a membership than on giving honest advice. Trusting their reassurance, I went through the wash—only to discover the next morning that not only had the car not been cleaned properly, but the driver’s side body, trim, windows, and even the paint had been significantly damaged.

In proper lighting, and especially once a professional detailer cleaned the car, deep scratches became visible across the paint and even into the window glass. Every auto detailer who inspected it told me the same thing: this kind of damage comes from taking an extremely dirty vehicle through a car wash, where the dirt acts like sandpaper. I was forced to pay over $1,000 for paint repair and ceramic coating, and there are still scratches that went right into the paint. The window remains damaged as well.

To make matters worse, when I contacted the company, “Christian” sent me three extremely low-resolution video clips—just a few seconds long, taken from far away—showing my wet car driving out of the wash at nearly 10 p.m. He claimed the light snowfall during my drive home somehow caused the damage, which is completely unrealistic and frankly insulting.

I trusted this business based on the attendant’s reassurance, and that trust resulted in expensive, permanent damage to my vehicle. Given the lack of accountability and the dismissive response I received, I cannot recommend this car wash to anyone. If your vehicle is even slightly dirty—or if you value your paint—stay far away. The photos show the vehicle before the car was (evening), after the car wash (day), scratches underneath the still dirty car, scratches after detailing. The window remains completely scratched up.

They completely destroyed the paint on my car! They scratched it up so bad and the other people who had gone through before me had the same issue. The manager here in Duluth MN refused to show me the camera footage of my car before and after. They know they wreaked my car and refuse to respond when I ask to see the footage they claim to have. I have written proof of me trying to contact them about it. I have written proof of them refusing to let me see the footage. I have photo proof of the scratches after coming out of it. I can't believe they get away with this type of behavior! it's insane!! If I had more time I'd have a lawyer sue them.

Tommys car wash on Liberia Avenue in Manassas, Va damaged my new truck. Put two inch long scratches on it. I immediately noticed and showed the Manager. Filed a claim, it was denied. So I have two magnetic signs on my truck. They say, Beware of Tommy's Car wash! There equipment damaged my truck! I get stopped every where I go. tommy car wash in Grandville, damaged my NEW 2025 chevy blazer, I have the proof and the evidence a piece of their brushes got wedged between the bumper and the fender, pulled the bumper up about 1/4 in. the piece of brush was still wedged in, took pictures, took it back showed them, they took pictures and they said that there was nothing could about it, next step was to turn in a claim I did, a week went by I had to call them and was told that they were not going to fix it because it`s normal for brushes to do that. cancel my account due to management and the business not taking responsibility for the damage they did

Thought after about a year ago, I would give Tommy’s express car wash another chance today but of course when I ran my truck through it, I got out and checked it. The car wash can’t even take bugs off your mirrors on the outside of them or on your bumpers and it’s not as if these bugs weren’t fresh. I just renewed my membership because they made me an offer and this is a joke. This place does not care about how your vehicle turns out. They just care about the money. I will never recommend Tommy’s car wash to anybody

This place used to be great! Now it's a dump! They no longer provide towels or cleaning solutions to use. Seriously? It's a car wash why wouldn't you provide that? You can no longer wash your odd or oversized car matts. Poor quality! You were shut down for about 2-3 weeks. You would think with ALL the other car washes opening up in Hernando you would step up your game! or at least stay on top of your game and still provide necessary services. Membership cancelled.

The brushes were turned up so high they took the plastic sheath on my back wiper, then proceeded to grab my wiper and rip it the other direction. I honked at the attendant in the wash who came over to get the brush untangled from my wiper blade arm. Made an 'insurance report' with an attendant before I left the premises. Report # 1793770. I have emailed the general manager Derrick King 3 times. I have called and left messages in his VM 3 times. I have not received any communication from him whatsoever. I would file a complaint with BBB, but this location does not have an affiliation with BBB. I definitely know why!
