Great service - very prompt delivery

My experience purchasing a set of volumes from Tom Ayling has been one of the best experiences I've had with a bookseller and I've certainly had my fair share. I received quick responses to the questions I had, payment was easy and the packing and shipping was both immaculate and fast. What else could you ask for?

The book arrived in record time, packaged impeccably, and I consider it great value.

Prompt, competent shipping. Don't laugh. Most book dealers I have dealt with are incapable of shipping, anything. I just had a book sitting in customs because the paperwork was missing. The dealer claimed they ship "500" books a month to the US without any problems. I believe this is what is, crudely, called "BS". It appears it has been returned to Spain.

Tom's Youtube videos provide great context from which to learn and understand about rare books. This lead me to visit his website where I found it easy to find interesting titles complete with great photos.

I'd been on the hunt for the super deluxe Sigurd and Gudrun for a couple years, it's definitely been a hard one to find, I'd only seen two other copies recently for sale (both at AbeBooks and similarly priced). After seeing some of Tom’s & Sienna’s videos I was immediately won over by their philosophy on books & book selling... it was clear how deeply they care about books, about their history & making, and in particular the joy of finding a home for them where they'll be equally appreciated & cared for. This really resonated with me, so when I discovered they had Sigurd & Gudrun for sale, it felt extra special to be able to acquire it from them. The ordering process was easy, the book was shipped quickly & packaged carefully, and was accompanied by a personalized note. A genuinely rewarding exchange!
