Treated my case with urgency which shows really good customer service

They took my subscription and I was later settled for a refund.

It is a scam - unwanted uncancellable membership I did not wanted

After leaving an honest review about my negative experience, I began receiving multiple messages from the company pressuring me to delete the review. They claimed my issue was “resolved” (it wasn’t, no refund received), and asked me to remove the review because it was “hurting their business.”

Then, they continued following up, pushing more and more, and I’ve seen other customers report similar behavior: ongoing messages, refund promises in exchange for good reviews, and even attempts to get their honest feedback removed from this platform. and I quote:
"As part of our commitment to you, we have initiated the process to issue a refund. We believe this is the best course of action at this time. We have also canceled your membership and proceeded to deactivate your account from our database.
To help us resolve this issue smoothly, we kindly ask you to consider deleting your comments by clicking on the link: xxxxx
Negative reviews can have a lasting impact even after we’ve addressed the issue.
Please reach out if you need further assistance. We appreciate your cooperation."

I was also contacted by Trustpilot asking for more details “to verify my experience,” likely because the company flagged my review. This feels like a deliberate tactic to silence negative feedback. I want others to be aware: this business uses manipulative tactics not only during the sale but after when people speak out.

This has gone beyond poor customer service, this feels like harassment. Stay away.

I very much dislike how I got subscribed without being aware of doing so. That must mean sleezy ways of getting ppl to subscribe like to info or anything without them being aware of a payed subscription.
In the chat I was helped swiftly, but still I felt I had to solve something I didn't know I got into. I only found out by checking my visa for another reason and saw the money been taken off by this company.

I was very shocked to find myself signed up to topbagland.com and two other services when I completed a questionnaire for a Northface bag and completed a payment for R36 for delivery to my house. However what shocked me even more was when I got home from the mall and opened my emails and I had a email from the customer care department stating that they had looked into my case and where refunding my money. I had never asked for this, just that they cancel the subscription. I think it was very kind of them to take the initiative and go that one step further. I want to that Eugene from the Escalation Department . I run a Media House and I am very impressed with your service , Bianca
