My uncle recently purchased a door camera and 2x wireless security cameras from Toucan. One of the wireless cameras would not work.
I emailed Toucan customer support and Harvey a UK Customer Support Supervisor, promptly contacted me. He was so helpful in every way and guided me through the process of an exchange for a new camera.
I have never encountered this high level of support/help from a company. It is very rare that a representative would deal with an issue such as mine in a polite, professional and prompt manner.
Proficiency such as this requires an acknowledgement.
A big thank you to Harvey.

We had an issue with two of our cameras that had stopped working. I contacted the help desk and Harvey was very helpful. He communicated well with us and arranged to replace the cameras. He went above and beyond to help and support us. Thank you Harvey!

My cameras wouldn’t reconnect after a power outage, and although we tried several solutions, he didn’t just log the issue and move on. Instead, he stayed with me for nearly an hour, patiently troubleshooting until we found the root cause.

Bought wireless doorbell. Been playing up most time I've had it, offline intermittently. Battery last few days only...month before warantee ended it was playing up and intermittently worked. Just over 12 month (just out warrantee ) it completely stops working. Uninstalled app..reinstalled, couldnt connect..i personally think there's a component( planned obsolescence) only lasts the warantee as this is common issue with these doorbells after reading many reviews..getting in touch with toucan is easy but it takes a bout a week to get the message across..as they reply to just one problem...and theres heaps of issues with the v3 camera. Swnt it back they had it a few hour and said they can't fix it... come on they didnt take it to bits to look at it in that time whe it takes forever to converse in first place, its just to say they addressed it..opened box put it back in thats all they have done in that time. You are out of warantee we offer 15% off next purchase haha no chance but i will be buying a botslab one. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANIES PRODUCTS.
23/4/26 updated review in relation to toucan reply:
If you search reviews majority are not satisfied with the door camera. Same issues, offline, not able to get in app, connectivity issues, Stopped working, weirdly just after warantee finished, difficult to get any resolve with toucan easily. AVOID AND BUY ANOTHER BRAND.

WOW!! we are so impressed with Harvey in customer support at Toucan! We have a WiFi mesh system, plus, a WiFi system for the remainder of our property. (our property is over three floors) Connectivity was proving really problematic as the Toucan system was seeing both WiFi’s. Harvey sorted out the problem in super quick time. Everything working really well. Fantastic clarity on the camera and very clear conversations through the door bell.
We can’t thank Harvey enough! Never let him leave he’s such an asset to the company. If we could give 10 stars we would!!

Brilliant, Harvey helped me so much to sort out a lost charging cable (my fault) even finding and sending one FOC for what was a past and discontinued product of several years ago. I genuinely cannot recommend their customer support highly enough from my own experience and you can actually talk to and message a real person with same day replies. Excellent support and service, thank you so much.

Security products are excellent, I purchased a doorbell with camera plus and extra camera for the driveway. After around 5 months the drivewat camera stopped working, I contacted Toucan via email and what a great response I got, Harvey at Toucan replied giving me several remedies which unfortunately didn't work but in the end the camera was replaced free of charge.
The products are very easy to install are very useful if you want to see who is at the door before you open it.
I love companies with great customer service and this is one of them, thanks Harvey.

My wife having suffered a brain haemorrhage a few years back put her into the unreasonable mind set as regards to security, we live in a very safe area and I for one did not see the need for extra security but knew I was not going to win this one so commenced the search for a relatively inexpensive system and at the time with good reviews etc I decided I would order a TOUCAN doorbell and two cameras, which were easily installed and the app loaded onto my phone they were charged and activated well at least for about a week before they needed charging this followed a pattern until the doorbell and a camera stopped charging and then stopped resetting or setting up of course it did they wouldn't charge a fact Harvey failed to grasp until we had exchanged numerous email, that many, I was at the stage of wishing to pock my eyes out, anyway my complaint was at last resolved by the issuing of a replacement doorbell and camera. However my troubles did not stop there unlike the doorbell and both camera's I wrote a nice email to Harvey explaining that the hardware was although over the years warranty it had lasted less than eighteen months and as a gesture of good will would he representing the Firm consider a replacement, not a chance over the warranty goodbye sucker was the reply [not the sucker but that's what it felt like] so there you have it equipment that lasts under 12 to 18 months if it works properly at all, so couple of hundred quid spent for limited use so the burning question is would I recommend this equipment or this firm and the answer to that is a resounding NO STEAR CLEAR save your money and heart ache. I have given TOUCAN and One Star rating what I would really have like is to give a minus Five Star. Please note that most of this happened last year but the last camera standing has just packed up.

Why don't you just leave it alone if I am logged in you have no reason to interfere with it. Another wasted evening trying to log in with ONCE AGAIN no success. 60 seconds is not enough time when the code doesn't arrive until at least 5 minutes later

Extremely happy with Toucan video doorbell system.l previously had another make, which I won’t name the company which did the job but rising subscription fees made me look at changing.
As I noticed on a previous review, I noticed someone else had a problem with the very small screw which attaches the camera to the camera. I contacted customer support and dealt with Molly-May who was extremely helpful and patient with me. She arranged for a new bracket and screw to be posted to me. Problem resolved quickly due to her quick response. I am sure she is a great asset to your company, who I can’t praise enough.

Recently contacted Toucan UK regards a replacement screw for the doorbell bracket. Toucan’s customer care (Harvey - Manager) is exactly what you want from a company. Swift in replies & extremely helpful in sorting any issues. I have always highly rated both my security camera & doorbell & would look to no other company with regards to home security.

Awful app.
Regular issues with notifications. The camera will notify me when it's windy, which was about 40 times the other day, yet misses actual people walking up to the camera. It is slow to respond, so of no use to speak to any visitors in real time.
Sometimes you click to view and it does nothing. Uiu have to close the app and restart, which is ridiculous. Today I have had several new issues. Firstly I kept getting blank screen where the notification and camera view should be, then, even though I've continued to get notifications, it signed me out of the app and won't let me back in. It claims there is a network error. Well, my WiFi is just fine, so the issue is with the app. I've emailed twice to complain. I even uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would fix it, but it didn't. And now I cannot even reset my password as it states there is another error. I tried to eet up a new account....nope. It wouldn't allow me to do that either. So I have n expensive ornament on my gate that I cannot access. I'm disabled and autistic, and I need this camera!!
Absolutely abysmal product and I wish I'd saved up and bought something different.
Honestly, I think they should refund me the price of the camera. At least then I could out he finds towards getting one that actually foes the job it is supposed to do!
