Careful!! We booked a guided tour in the Old Town of Jeddah. We were picked up half an hour late and then driven to a museum instead. As we visited the same museum the day before, we asked the driver to go to the Old Town directly. He explained that there is no guide and that we would have to guide ourselves. Why on earth would we pay 200€ for a self guided tour? On the website it clearly states that there would be a guide. We contacted visitsaudiarabia.com immediately via mail as both telephone numbers had an automated message on the other end (one in Arab, one in Italian). In the evening we received a message that the matter is being investigated and a solution will be presented the day after. Now it is a week later and we still haven‘t heard a word.

Take a private local guide. More expensive but at least you get something for the money.

A refund has meanwhile been received and a free tour in Japan or Italy was offered. Thanks!

This boat tour was an unforgettable experience! Our guides Mohammed and Ali were very kind and helpful. The surroundings were beautiful, and we would really recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jeddah!

The company contacted a day early to the tour to inform me about the details of pick up and driver keeps updating his movement while on the way to pick up point at the hotel. The driver was really nice and did his best to please his guest. But this cannot be referred as a tour. Is more of drop off / pick up at a museum and palace which is in the same place. This can not be call a tour since is just drop up and pick up involved.
