Recently bought a house marketed by Townend Estate Agency in Idle.
Very smooth process from agreeing sale to completion.
Josh kept in regular contact and we were very impressed with the speed that he replied to any queries or updates we raised.

They sold my house really quickly and thought we're professional but really helpful and friendly. Always rang back when they said they would and always willing to help and advise. Thank you every one at the idle branch. You were all great.

My experience was exceptional from start to finish. Staff were very friendly and helpful giving advise as and when needed.

Interestingly because I don’t live locally to BD10 the sale was by phone and email only, with never stepping into a Townend Agency. Initially looked the part and I was pretty desperate after a relationship breakdown.
Took my money. Without checking flat properly.
No heating or hot water for, into third week now.
No gas supply on property and no working electric meter. Told "sort meter yourself"
Food remnants in drawers and cupboards.

My first involvement with Townend Estate Agents in Idle was in June 2023 when I visited their premises to enquire about a property for sale in the window.
Once my wife and I had decided to pursue our interest in the property I was initially involved with Nick who was extremely efficient in handling all aspects of the first paperwork.
Our first viewing of the property was conducted by Martin who was very friendly and accomplished in his handling of the viewing and also further viewings which we requested. Martin was also responsible for all arrangements with regards to the valuation and marketing of our existing property which resulted in the sale of this property being concluded in just 23 days.
Due to the prolonged time taken by all the solicitors and the paperwork involved in these transactions we eventually moved into our new property on the 15th December 2023.
Throughout this lengthy period both Josh and Jake were superb in handling any issues or requests that I had with the vendors, solicitors and buyers. A telephone call or text from either was very quickly forthcoming supplying all the information together with suggested answers.
Overall I found my experience very enjoyable with all the aforementioned people providing a quality professional service and I certainly would have no reservations in recommending Townend Estate Agents in Idle to anyone who has a property purchase/sale requirement.

I have used Townend for house sales & rentals on multiple occasions. I have found Josh at their Leeds office to be particularly efficient & a credit to any company. Particularly helpful in stressful situations I might add. Immediate e-mail response on every occasions. Mark my words I rarely leave positive, unless inspired to.

During 2023 our family has sold 3 properties using townends estates agents. (My auntie, my son and one that i owned) All of the valuations were realistic at that time and was very impressed with Martin Townend who give the valuations. All properties were sold in the same week and subsequent enquiries for the progress were dealt with professional and friendly manner. I would definitely recommend Townend to others and already have done so. 1st class cannot say any better.
