Their overnight borrow fee is a total robbery

Orders sometimes doesn't show you have entered and holding a position. And frequent disconnect and freeze for few minutes from platforms, which means can't control your position and they don't hold any responsibility for issues from their side, but you will still pay for all fees.

Problem with tradezero is they don't have real bracket orders. That means you need to first open position, only then you can set bracket order(they call it range) and when range order is set you cannot change(modify) it. that means this platform is basically unusable for any serious trading. It also means you will not be able to quickly set anything. so you will not be able to catch any quick moves.!! yes they offer shorting small stocks but because you will not be able set tp of sl quick enough you will loose money intraday scalping. So the question is why they are using technology form early 90 , or developers are just retarded or they want you to loose money. Also after you will set range sl and tp you will not be able to close position before you will close tp and sl range order. Idiotic. you will also not be able to set sl and tp manually!!! you will be able to set tp or sl manually but not set them manually both. It is unbelievable how idiotic is this!!!!just insane. it is basically impossible to trade quickly efficiently.

I have received good answers to the questions about my new account. Haven't had time to explore the zero pro app yet but it looks very promising.

I have been trading on the platform for about 9 months. There platform is very well design, but poorly executed. The main reason is the hot keys do not work!! Called them about it, created a ticket, called them about again, and they could not come up with answer. Weeks passed and still no answer. As well, every so often the system crashes on you. And not just for 1 to 3 minutes. Sometimes for like 30 minutes or more. The nail on the coffin happened today. They have 2 part authentication to login in. However the only way to access it is by phone. I lost my phone and waiting on a replacement. Contacted them, explained what happened via email. Provide them with a picture of me and my ID. Gave them details about my account, but they wanted me to call them in. Explain to me the logic of that. How can someone without a phone call anyone. If I had a phone I would have called in the first place. You would imagine they have some protocol for this type of situation. Asked them if they had any and no response after 30 emails and yet to have a response. They can take hours to respond back to you via email as well. It seems they have one or two people answering the phones and responding to emails. Imagine you cannot close your position or add to you position because you lost your phone. I will be closing my account and moving else where. I would suggest to stay away!!

Unregulated trash, they will steal your money through invisible fees.

A super positive experience, far superior to many other trading platforms. Furthermore, on the few occasions when software issues arose, Technical Support was prompt and extremely efficient. 5 stars!

I am an experienced trader with several trading accounts. I was excited when I heard about TradeZero’s short locate so I decided to give it a try. Never got an opportunity, denied my account application and when I ask why or how I can fix it, customer service says, I can’t give you that info. Pretty much told me to shove it. Stick with American brokers if you don’t want to be discriminated against and not told why.

Today it's 30 September and I still didn't get on my account dividend paid on 9/23/2025 (ExDate 9/22/2025). The chat support just copy & paste that "Cash and stock dividend payments are applied to the client's account 1 - 2 business days after the payment date." without even reading the problem and the payments date I posted or the stock name. After telling them to not reply with canned response they just said to write to the assistance mail dumping the responsibility to another one and delaying the problem. Unprofessional support and canned response is what you get here if you have some trouble.

i love the fast answer when someone need support

TradeZero starting to get flakey again. Yesterday, ordering locates in premarket was offline. Today, *all ordering* is offline in premarket - orders cannot be placed - positions cannot be opened or closed. And I can't use the locates I already paid for first thing in the morning.

There is no service status page for customers - no live information on issue progress / resolution. I was advised to wait for some time and then check for myself if I can place orders. But placing orders requires planning and actually costs money!

Getting worried about TradeZero reliability again, after their massive outage last year.

Awful broker. Absolutely awful. Stay away for your capitals sake. They charge the highest fee's and close your positions randomly when they feel like it. Never seen such a scammy broker before

I think if your interface can be like IKBR (more users frienderlt). your market shares will grow.

And two many teck and Jagons and terms in the program,(pro, free, web......) I have to spend a lot of time to understand or just pretend to understand . it is too time cumsuming.
