Une bonne idée pour un cadeau durable. Une commande facile mais le temps annoncé (5 min) pour recevoir le billet s'est avéré un peu plus long.
Mais tout est rentré dans l'ordre avec l'aide d'un service client réactif.

Although the purchase was easy I just could not find how to have the ticket sent to me to give as a gift by hand which would have meant a lot to the recipient.

Easy first booking
This was my first booking on traingift following a birthday voucher. The process was easy and simple to follow. I was able to easily book my travel with the same T&C's as the train operator.

Traingift just didn't work for desired journey
Traingift just didn't work for the journey my son wanted to book - on the Caledonian Sleeper. The journey was available directly on Caledonian but wasn't available via Traingift and you can only use the voucher through them. After repeated requests to give a refund they steadfastly refused - quoting their small print. I'd avoid - safer to just buy the tickets directly through the company. We felt cheated. I'd give it no stars if that was an option.

All available routes and tickets can be viewed directly on our Traingift website at any time, and the system requires a valid gift card only to complete a booking. Some journeys may be unavailable due to restrictions from the train operators themselves, which is why certain tickets may appear on their site but not through Traingift.
We can see that you have successfully completed a booking without using your gift card. Please note that all Traingift vouchers remain valid for 2 years from the date of purchase, so you can use it for any future journey available on our website. Our team is also happy to assist you with the redemption process whenever you are ready.
