A great guide with a perfectly planned relevant itinerary for Egypt.

Just back from an amazing trip to Vietnam with the Travel Department. Such an experience with a wonderful guide Hung. Every hotel that we stayed in was exceptional with great food and great rooms. From day one, right until we arrived home in Ireland we were so well looked after and have made so many new friends and great memories. Can't thank Travel Department enough for this wonderful experience

I have travelled with the TD many times as a solo traveller of senior age. My last trip was Malta and the next one is Transalvania. Without exception from beginning to end the TD is amazing efficient committed to our enjoyment and care. They offer amazing trips full of history and exotic experiences and I love every one of them. Thank you TD.

A great holiday
Well organised

The flights were very early coming and going home. It was very tiring on the first day. When we got to the hotel most people got their keys straight away but we told we had to wait until 3pm. We had arrived there approx 11am Berlin time . So we missed some time of the trip while waiting for room key. Isabel our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. She was very friendly and warmhearted. The drivers were very good too. The shops were closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday . We had a city tour on Saturday and we visited the shops that day too. On Sunday there was no optional trip available so we went to mass and on a boat trip. On Monday morning our flight was very early again. It takes a lot from the trip when we were too tired to fully enjoy it. The hotel was lovely and the staff too. I would go again but later flights. The time in Ireland had gone forward the week before the trip and In Berlin we had to put our time forward another hour.

Just back from trip to Egypt. Excellent hotels and ship . Our holiday was made by our guide Dodi, he was excellent. Very knowledgeable, patient and efficient throughout the trip. Went out of his way to make sure we experienced everything promised!.

The people, the tours, the sun coming out. Visiting the beautiful Cascais, Lisbon and Nazare. The food and the delishicious custard tarts. The lovely reception staff and the very on the ball Manuel who organised the breakfasts for us. The hotel music theme on the bedroom walls was also very retro and funky.

Holiday in Tenerife was wonderful. Lovely tour guides, a feeling of safety in the location, delicious food and clean hotel.

Great destination. Great value. Knowledgeable guides. Enjoyable travel companions.

We wish to say a very sincere and genuine thank you for our most memorable and truly brilliant experience of travelling with you to India's golden triangle recently. Your entire company was brilliant in every way from start to finish and we would also like to highlight that your colleague Caroline Gallagher was extraordinarily above and beyond amazing. Everything for us from the initial booking to the organisation, the tour guide, the ease of travel and the size of the group couldn't have been better. Our trip happened to span the outbreak of the war in the middle east. This is where your company really came into its own. All flights were cancelled travelling through the middle east and so Caroline stepped in to support us and really showed herself to be beyond expert and passionately caring for us. She did this in such a kind and caring way, while still remaining pragmatic and keeping us calm. Caroline was truly brilliant to deal with. So much so, that we have been telling everyone how magic the Travel Department has been since we returned from India, and so now here I am sharing it on Trustpilot. What an amazing holiday we had recently in Egypt. Well done Travel Department on a well planned and organised trip. The group were great fun and of our guide, Dodi, was fabulous. He shared his vast knowledge with us and made sure everything went smoothly, despite some weather issues! Dodi looked after us with humour, care and patience. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I have just returned from the most amazing holiday of my life. Egypt Nile river cruise. From the wonderful sites, Grand Egyption Museum , the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx. To the wonderful hotels and cruise. The people on the trip were so friendly and approachable. I felt i could sit and chat to each and everyone. But the highlight had to be our guide Dodi Fathy. The most knowledgable , interesting , caring , calm guide i have ever encountered. He even had tee shirts for St Patrick's day. Its these ingredients people , guide and fabulous places that made the Egyption experience unforgetable. Thank you Dodi.

We are just back from the trip of a lifetime to Egypt. Our guide Dodí made the holiday very special with his knowledge, expertise as an Egyptologist, sense of humour and eternal patience.He is a very nice man who does an excellent job. We enjoyed all of the holiday but the boat was my favourite- so romantic to be sailing down the Nile. The temples that we visited were incredible and the holiday fulfilled a long time ambition to see them ‘in the flesh’.I usually plan holidays myself but for Egypt you need Dodí and the Travel company.

Just back home from an amazing trip to Egypt - it had it all - wonderful Egyptian sites and culture, a fantastic group of fellow travellers who blended in so well together and Dodi, our travel guide, who can seamlessly share his exceptional knowledge of Egypt with a great sense of fun and humour!

We traveled to India in mid Feb 26 with Travel Dept. The trip was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If you have not been to India , just go..it's an experience! The Guide Mr. Anurag (" Anu") really made the trip for us. From the minute we arrived to departure he took care of absolutely everything. His knowledge and story telling was just brilliant. We learned so much about the culture and people. If you are going to India with Travel Dept, ask if Anu is your guide, you will thank me!

We have just returned from a trip to Egypt with the Travel Department. This was the trip of a lifetime and it didn't disappoint. from the start our guide, Dodi Fathy was marvellous. He is an Egyptologist and was most knowledgeable on this amazing civilisation. In addition we shared the experience with a lovely sociable group of people from the four corners of Ireland. we experienced all the incredible sights and
sounds of Egypt in a safe and well-organised fashion. The hotel, the Nile Cruise, the last two days in Hurghada-a beach resort- all went perfectly. It was a well thought-out trip that ticked all our boxes. Well done Travel Department and Dodi!

We had a fantastic trip to Egypt with the Travel Department. We woke up on our first morning to an amazing view of the pyramids from our hotel! This trip took us from the fabulous Grand Egyptian Museum and the pyramids in Cairo to a tranquil Nile cruise with stunning scenery and fascinating temples and finally a stay at the Red Sea. Our fellow travellers were all so lovely and easy to get along with. Many thanks to our wonderful guide Dodi who looked after us all so well from our arrival to our departure in Cairo. He is an outstanding tour guide. Finally I would highly recommend the safari excursion from Hurghada. I booked it primarily for the camel ride but the dune buggy, quad bike ride and safari were so much fun!
