It was easy to navigate the site.
The price was good.

The website is very user-friendly, and the process is quick and clear. Furthermore, the customer service team is friendly and efficient with any changes.

I understand that insurance companies need to protect themselves from fraud, but the claims process for this travel policy is completely unreasonable for real-world situations.

We purchased the cancellation insurance when booking through Expedia for a one-night hotel stay. The next morning, I woke up with a headache and nausea and simply wasn’t able to make a 4-hour trip each way in that condition. This is exactly the kind of situation you expect travel insurance to cover.

However, filing a claim required multiple forms to be completed by a doctor, including several pages asking for medical history and personal information. At 72 years old, I’m not going to schedule a doctor visit for what is clearly a short-term illness just to satisfy paperwork requirements.

In the end, it was easier to lose the $180 hotel cost than deal with the time, effort, and intrusion of the claims process.

If you’re considering this insurance, be aware: getting reimbursed may involve significant paperwork, phone calls, and follow-up—even for minor, legitimate claims.

Easy to use - but I use you everytime I travel so I know the ropes

I paid for cancellation protection. Had an unexpected illness arise the day before - Travel Guard refused to refund the over $500.00 hotel fees. Lesson learned - no more Travel Guard or Expedia.

This is not a cancel for any reason company and I will never use them again. I was not able to go last min due to work obligations. Provided a statement from my company as requested and claim denied. This was used through Frontier Airlines which I will also never be using again. For this same trip I purchased tickets to a sporting event and they were insured through Allianz I didn’t have any issues and never do. This was the 3rd time I used Allianz and next time travel guard is suggested I will decline and go with Allianz to hell with Travel Guard

Was necessary for protection! Was easy!

After purchasing An annual subscription, I had a question on the “destination “- it stated United States, but that was not my destination. When I called to inquire, the representative said she could t see my policy number and that she was having computer issues and would call me back. I never received a call! I then called the following day. I’m concerned that if I have a need while abroad, I won’t get the help needed if this is Travel Guards reaction. Secondly, I was suppose to get the policy mailed to me. That still has not arrived!
Close to making a decision to cancel if I don’t see the mailed, hard copy policy soon.

Completing the online form was easy with no issues. The explanation was helpful to walk me through getting the right policy for me.

I sent them THREE notices and a phone call requesting CANCELLATION of my POLICY 1000786523 well within the 15 days--I cancelled on day ONE!!! They promise to reply in 5-7 days but do not reply in time.

Easy to navigate, varied levels of coverage offered, add-ons or subtractions for specific items presented clearly;came highly recommended already from three different world travelers

I have been a returning customer x many years. Each time I engage with the site, the process is easy and fast.

This is 100% a scam, and I want to genuinely warn people about this.

They charged $51 each, to my dad and I. We had to cancel our trip cause his blood pressure was acting up on Feb, 24th. The trip was March 4th. They now, won't refund anything. Even tho we cancelled not only in the time period, but weeks before the trip.

They have made us jump through hoops, and its been the worst customer service experience of my life.

I never leave reviews - but my one piece of advice, is do not buy from this company. I will be leaving reviews to warn others on every site.

useless insurance, when someything happens they just try to deny everything.
You better go for Allianz...I had an amazing experience with them.
Travel Guard instead is just a cheap, slow, dodgy and not supporting insurance that is out there just to take your money and abandon you when you most need them.
Stay away! Allaianz forever from now on
