We recently completed the W Trek in Torres del Paine with Experience Chile, and it was an unforgettable adventure! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and beyond our expectations. A huge thanks to Charles for recommending and meticulously planning our itinerary – everything was so well-organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning landscapes.

The hikes were breathtaking, with gorgeous scenery at every turn. From towering peaks and sparkling glaciers to serene lakes and lush valleys, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. The lodging options were incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation after long days on the trails.

What truly stood out was the impeccable schedule timing. Every transfer, meal, and activity was perfectly aligned, ensuring we could maximize our time enjoying the natural beauty of Patagonia without any stress.

We’re already dreaming about our next adventure and hope to take on the O Trek in the future – and of course, we’ll be keeping Experience Chile in mind for that journey as well.

The best part is their tour guides, so knowledgeable and passionate about the profession, were more than happy to talk about sites😃

Our experience booking with Charles and Experience Chile was superb! They managed and responded to all our questions and requests, suggesting great options and explaining how things worked. We booked the W-trek with them, which was a savior as navigating all the accommodation and transport bookings direct was proving difficult and confusing. They also recommended a beautiful ranch to stay at post hike which was the best place we have ever stayed! Can’t recommend Charles and team enough.

Charles Hallifax and Experience Chile were extremely helpful, easy to work with, flexible, and efficient. Instead of my spending a couple of months researching and putting together a month-long trip with multiple destinations for hiking, Charles took over and worked with me, making the planning seamless and enjoyable. He listens well, communicates clearly and promptly by email and Whatsapp, has patience and a good sense of humor.
We absolutely will use him again when traveling to areas that he covers.

It seems like the company is out of business. We booked and paid for a trip and ever since there is radio silence.

We utilized Charles Halifax of Experience Chile to plan and book all our accommodation and transfers in Ar-gentian & Chilean Patagonia' It made planning and booking the holiday so much easier. Charles choices for accommodation were great. All transfers were seamless and we loved communicating with the drivers in Spanglish (trying pays dividends) It is an amazing place not to be missed and we highly recommend Charles and Experience Chile for the local knowledge and expertise. Charles was always prompt to respond and quickly resolved the few minor hiccups we had.

We used ExperienceChile.org to book our accommodations, in country airfare, car rental and private transfers for a 3 week trip. The trip was seamless, Charles gave us expert advice on where to stay -he was correct ( Estancia Cerro Guido next to Torres del Paine for an authentic experience vs lodge in the park) And our trip was seamless. Charles was always available by What'sApp or call for any issues. Highly recommended

We did a pelagic birding trip with Rodrigo Reyes in late June 2023. We (Deborah Allen and I) study birds throughout the world - and have been on many pelagic trips (New Zealand; Namibia; Washington State/USA; California/USA etc.). Rodrigo led a wonderful trip - he was knowledgeable and fun...kind - well worth the money we paid. Highly recommended.

Hola! Hice una compra por SHEIN, n° de seguimiento 712320552215, el cual llego a Chile desde el día 29 de abril y aun se encuentra retenido en el aeropuerto.
Es por esto que necesito pedir urgente la factura de la compra, pero es imposible contactarse con el soporte de SHEIN, no me derivan a una atencion manual o personalizada.

Hace unos minutos acabo de recibir una transferencia bancaria hecha por LATAM PAYMENT GROUP SPA, por la sifra exacta de $7650 pesos chilenos, que signifa esto?? La deuda total por dos pasajes desde santiago de chile con destino final Zurich que fueron comprados el año pasado en marzo 2020 corresponde a $ 991.330 pesos chilenos por favor, dejen de reír de la gente en toda LATINOAMERICA, no compre con estas empresas, por que no van a Despegar a ningún lugar, y aprovechando que ya tienen mis datos bancarios deposite lo que corresponde y el Número de reserva 106018120100 para que corrobore. La gente necesita su dinero, basta del abuso, contesten los teléfonos, den una respuesta clara, ya basta de que se tiren la. Pelota unos con otros, es un robo lo que hacen un real robo!

Hola mi experiencia ha sido horrible ya que en despegar. Com no responden los correos ni las llamadas, tengo 2 reservas con distintas aerolíneas y no se hacen responsables por el cierre de fronteras, asímismo, me piden que reprograme los viajes y al reprogramarlo me cobran 1,4 millones más por diferencia de tarifa, solicite el reembolso me dicen que por contrato no pueden reembolsar a pesar de que mi vuelo por avíanca haya sido cancelado.. No se que hacer espero alguien me ayude

Necesito ayuda con un paquete que compre en despegar, no me dan respuesta concreta para la devolucion de mi compra, las fronteras están cerradas por lo que no puedo viajar de chile a río de janeiro

Mas que una opinion es un reclamo en contra despegar en marzo del año pasado compre 2 pasajes para Mexico Y POR LA PANDEMIA se han ido aplazando hasta hoy me mandaron un reagendamiento para junio teniendo que pagar casi el doble del valor por reagendar mi codigo e reserva es 8078115600 por favor yo lo que quiero es la devolucion de mi dinero ya que por ese dinero me es imposible cancelar lo que ellos piden hay reclamos en el sernac de chile pero ellos solo ofrecen reagen dar gracias ojala tenga silucion

Rodrigo Reyes did an excellent job guiding us and helping us find birds during two days - one on the coast and one inland. We had great views of the birds we were interested in, and he chose excellent locations to find the local endemic species. He and the driver Justino were friendly, timely, and enjoyable. I would highly recommend him.

Rodrigo had obviously done some research to prepare what we were likely to see under the constraints of the the local conditions (drought) which made the birding more difficult. He suggested three different locations and outlined what we were likely to see in each.

Taking this into consideration we saw some fabulous country and great birds, including the endemic birds of the area (and a Culpeo or Andean Fox which was very unexpected but had great views). Rodrigo was also very good at interpreting the flora and landscape for us at the three locations, we visited which enhanced our experience.

A great day with a very knowledgeable guide and driver.

We completed a 12 day birding trip with Rodrigo Reyes, visiting the Lake District, Central Chile, and Northern Chile. The tour was excellent, and we saw most of our target bird species. Rodrigo is very conscientious and a pleasure to bird with. In addition to the birds, we enjoyed learning about the natural and cultural history of Chile. Highly recommended!

Rodrigo Reyes is a great guide for exploring Chile. He and his associates agree outstanding birders who know the natural history and human history of the areas visited. Comfortable vehicles, very nice accommodations and they know a lot of great, local restaurants.

My birding trip was organized to perfection, hitting all of my given targets (and some of them were NOT easy). Mr. Rodrigo Reyes is not only a very skilled and professional birding guide, he's also fun to travel with. I had an amazing trip - my first in Chile but certainly not my last.

This custom-designed trip covering the full length of Chile in 3 weeks far exceeded our expectations in the terms of the number of bird species seen, but also in logistics (hotels, food, transportation and domestic flights). Our guide Rodrigo Reyes made it all seem simple despite ongoing protests within the country. He wanted us to experience the best of Chile’s natural wonders and cultural heritage. We came home wanting to return soon. Highly recommended.
