Dear Wiktor, unfortunately Travelyn has ceased to exist as a company. It was never a scam, but the company stopped trading a few months ago, and eventually closed completely at the start of December. This reply is being sent from an ex-employee who happened to see your message and wants to help in any way possible.

We had a very small number of customers who had bookings with flights in the future, and effort was made to communicate with all of these customers by email how to take control of the flights in their bookings, so that they can manage the flights by themselves.

I can think of a few key pieces of advice that could help you to resolve this:

1. Check the inbox of the booking owner (the person who gave their contact email address when the booking was made) and you should be able to find an email sent within the past 2-4 weeks with information and advice from support@travelyn.com (this email address is no longer active though, so you will not be able to contact anyone there).

2. Check your E-ticket for information about your flights - most information required to access your flight reservations on the airline platform is contained there.

3. Contact the customer support of the airline who you were booked to fly with. Give the full names of the passengers as well as the route, dates/times of the flights and ask for assistance to gain access to the flights. Explain that you booked via an online travel agent that is no longer operating. You may be required to complete some verification, but they should be able to help you.

I hope at least one of these pieces of advice helps you to resolve this. I cannot speak on behalf of Travelyn any longer, but as a fellow human being I sincerely hope you are able to find a solution.

Vi er kede af, at din rejse ikke gik som planlagt. Fra anden feedback, vi har modtaget fra dig, er vi opmærksomme på det problem, der opstod under din rejse. Desværre var de problemer, du oplevede, uden for Travelyns kontrol, da det var forhold, der udelukkende er passagerernes ansvar. Hvis der var noget, vi kunne have gjort for at forhindre dette, ville vi have gjort det, og vi giver vejledning under bookingprocessen på vores hjemmeside.

Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Sie negative Erfahrungen mit unserem Service gemacht haben. Aufgrund früherer Rückmeldungen, die wir von Ihnen erhalten haben, ist uns das Problem, auf das Sie sich beziehen, bekannt. Leider liegt die Sitzplatzpolitik der Fluggesellschaft nicht in der Kontrolle von Travelyn. Wir haben Ihr Feedback jedoch berücksichtigt und arbeiten daran, unsere eigene Sitzplatzpolitik zu verbessern, um in Verbindung mit der Sitzplatzpolitik der Fluggesellschaft einen reibungsloseren Service zu bieten.
