Andreia and her team are truly one of a kind.
The level of service is exceptional! They consistently go above and beyond for every transfer and transport need, no matter how big or small.
The cars are always excellent, the experience seamless, and the drivers outstanding - especially Nelson, who is professional, reliable, and a pleasure to travel with.
We’ve been using them for the past three years, and somehow it only continues to get better for our family.

We’ve been using Tripsportugal for over six years, and our experience has been consistently excellent. Whether it’s airport transfers or rides to events where parking is difficult, they’ve always been reliable.

Their pricing is fair, the drivers are punctual, and they’re consistently kind and helpful. We’ve never felt the need to look for another car service—it simply hasn’t been necessary.

Our guide Nelson was not only knowledgeable, he also treated us like family (the family who you like)! We were so impressed that we booked a private tour with him and enjoyed a day being whisked around in his beautiful Mercedes Van. This guy knows everybody! Highly recommended!

Bruno arrived early, was really helpful in loading all our stuff up. He was really patient with my three children all day.

The van was really clean and tidy. A very informative drive to the palaces. Everything he recommended was spot on. He brought us to a beautiful place for lunch where we had the best Portuguese food.

What could of been a really stressful day with 3 children was very enjoyable and made even better with the service of bruno and Nelson.

From the moment we arrived in Portugal, you guys made us feel like VIPs! Personalized car service was the perfect way to explore the country, super comfortable, supportive, flexible and stress-free. From start to finish this company was excellent. Extremely helpful in organising our tour of Sintra and providing us with a clear itinerary along with booking tickets for palace entry- which - because of high demand - can be quite difficult.
Nelson - our guide and driver - was - quite simply excellent- and made our day really enjoyable with his expert knowledge, extremely friendly attention and terrific driving skills. We were a family party of six and all thought the day -from pick up to drop off was perfect.

I cannot recommend Nelson enough. This kind man made our family trip to Portugal so much easier and more enjoyable with his experience and charisma. As an example, our delay of 2 hrs through passport control could have meant he moved on, but he waited to make sure we got to our hotel at 10pm at night. Things like that matter when you have young children with you. In addition, his tour of Lisbon was first rate, the knowledge he imparts and the passion with which he talks about his home city is infectious.
I cannot recommend enough that you reach out to Nelson if you are travelling to Portugal.

Our family had the absolute pleasure of spending a day exploring the magical town of Sintra, Portugal, with Nelson as our guide, and we can't recommend him enough! From the very start, Nelson made us feel like we were well looked after with our desires for the day in mind and our happiness. His enthusiasm for the history, culture, and natural beauty of Sintra and Cascais was apparent. Fantastic energy.

He went above and beyond to make sure every member of our family—young and old—was engaged and had the best possible experience. We were even treated to some delicious treats in Sintra! Whether it was exploring the town, castle or being brought to an amazing restaurant with the best chicken ever, he took great care of us.

He even took the time to tailor the tour to our interests, adjusting the itinerary to suit our pace and preferences. No question was too small, and he answered everything with such patience and genuine excitement. We felt like we got an authentic personalized experience, and his care for making sure we had an amazing time truly set him apart.
If you're visiting Sintra, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Nelson. We had an amazing trip to Lisbon, booked airport transfer and day tour to Sintra. Perfect communication and prompt service. Traveled in comfort with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Created a custom trip with an amazing experience. Nélson took care of everything for us and showed us the sights and local favorites for food and drinks. The only way to experience the area, we will be coming back and recommending Trips Portugal and Nélson specifically to all of our friends and family!

Nelson was the best tour guide. He personalized our tour to what we wanted to see and made it go effortlessly. He figures out the best way to do things. We saw the best of Sintra as well as the “end of the world” and Boca di inferno. He knew the best places to take photos and did so for us without us having to ask. He also advised on the best meal we have had in Cascais. The Mercedes van was very comfortable. He shared a love for Portugal and shared important history. We could not have asked for a better or more personalized tour. We wholeheartedly recommend Nelson! He made us feel like family.

Nelson is an amazing and vibrant tour guide who seemed to know exactly what we needed from the start. He was always on time, and the car he used was spacious, clean, and luxurious — which made our journey even more comfortable. He’s incredibly funny, friendly, and genuinely considerate — it honestly felt like his only goal was to make sure we were having the best time possible. His energy and passion for what he does really made the experience unforgettable. Truly an outstanding guide and a wonderful person. Highly recommended!

Jose was assigned to us for our day trip in Algarve. One of the place that we asked him to visit was unexpected, it was a last minute personal request. Jose has not personally visited the place but he was very knowledgeable about the geography of Portugal so he was able to show us and navigated the place safely and with confidence. Jose even showed us nearby tourist sites where we were able to enjoy and appreciate the country more. He also assisted us in getting a last minute trip to the most “must visit” places and showed us where to eat authentic Portuguese cuisine. He is very fluent in English, we didn’t have to struggle with interpretations the whole time. He is very well versed and knowledgeable about Portugal history, heritage, geography etc. Jose is also very helpful and accommodating. He was able to rescue us from the unfortunate “bathroom trips” where we didn’t have the coins required to use the toilets but he was always ready to help us out. The car that we used to traverse the roads was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend tripsportugal for your travel needs and especially Jose for your tour guide if you’re looking for exceptional service, comfortable travel and transportation. We will definitely come back!

Trips Portugal came through for us at the last minute after our tour company canceled our private day trip to Sintra and environs. Nelson arranged for Jose from his team to meet us in Sintra and guide us for the day. Highly recommend!
