Got what I needed

Love love love how easy this was

Love love love how easy this was! I’m approaching my 100th workout with PVOLVE and frankly, would not be able to enjoy that without this. Easy process to get my letter of medical necessity that sets me up for a healthy future. I did 100% of my FSA funds this year (outside copays) with Truemed and I’ll do the same next year! I'm at my 5th or 6th revision for a LMN, because they always miss something, that my FSA provider needs. Because of this, I will most likely now miss the deadline and loose those funds from 2025. It's such a shame, the idea behind the company is great, but their internal processes don't seem to be designed to actually consistently fulfill what they set out to do. It shouldn't be a surprise to them, that a LMN needs to contain the exact name of the medication, the duration which the LMN covers etc, as those are all standard questions from FSA providers.

Waste Of Time

I got an Aviron Rower and received a curtesy LMN from TrueMed by using a link that came with my rower's invoice.

The way TrueMed wrote my LMN wasn't correct; they were supposed to write that the medical issue I had was true at the time of purchase since their prescription came a few weeks after I bought my Aviron Rower.

For whatever reasons, TrueMed refused to update their LMN; perhaps they didn't get a cut of the sale, since my LMN was written after the sale; I don't know.

Whatever the reason, using their service was a waste of my time; I definitely unsubscribed my email from their marketing emails, etc...

Customs service is terrible and they will ghost you

Customer service is terrible. I purchased $2,000+ mattress and sleep wellness from a “partner” and the “payment”prompt for TrueMed was NOT on the website and was not anywhere available on the payment methods and had to use my personal account.
Realizing there was no TrueMed portal- I contacted the product provider and their customer service told me to contact true med from the LMN because they could see the purchase was made through the partner marketplace.
Unfortunately since the only way to contact someone is email at “support” and they will ghost you. I have not received a response and pretty sure am missing the LMN timeframe, so I’m pretty much out the money.

Kicker- I tried another purchase for supplements and the same thing happened, but when I sent that customer support question for that purchase a rep responded.

With no answers I called back the mattress place, and they told me you need to request refund/mail back everything to get a refund, then repurchase and wait all over again to get the sleep stuff I ordered. This is not the kind of customer service I patron especially with a large purchase like that. I informed everyone I know and the voiced how much of a time, money, and energy waste of disappointment they are.

Quick and easy

I just went through trumed to get some equipment for exercise. A treadmill and bike got my LMN and receipt already. Can't wait to get my equipment and get going on this journey of mine. It was quick and simple. And a few questions submit will have a licensed DR review and approve or not. I was confused when I first did cause it said to split payment but that was because I had extra stuff it did not cover.

Terrible Customer Support

No support. I needed a revision to my LMN, and they have not replied to any of my many requests for help. I've reached out via email, reddit, linkedin, instagram, and tried calling (dead phone number). Terrible customer support and I'm now going to have to figure out how to cancel the order or dispute the charges.

TrueMed-Whoop Fraud

I tried purchasing product from whoop using FSA/HSA card. It redirected me to Truemed to use the card/ The money got deducted from my account, Truemed says insufficient funds cannot place order. There is no customer support number that they have on website.

When using your HSA card through our checkout integration, payment is processed directly with your card issuer. If a card is declined due to insufficient funds, that decline comes from your card issuer and no charge is collected on our end. We understand how confusing this can feel. Ripoff

Ripoff. Stay away. Truemed inserted itself into my transaction with a health club, Row House, a free trial visit. They somehow converted that into a $30 credit card charge. When I tracked them down, they agreed to reverse the charge, implicitly agreeing it was scammy.

One stress after another.

Sadly, things with Truemed are going from bad to worse.
Having ignored my written instructions to cancel my order, they shipped the item to me via FedEx anyway.
This was after they wrote to say that I would need to take no further action, that they would cancel the order, and have the shipment turned around and returned to them, and then refund the money.

It is exceptionally hard to believe that the positive reviews here are genuine. I would read the initial reviews, all 1 star. This is not a legitimate operation as far as I can tell.

Will post again. Am expecting the next response from them will be for me to pay to have the item returned.
