I would’ve rated it less than one star because they failed to perform the service that they indicated was completed stuck a flag on my lawn, but my cameras do not show any true green employee doing any kind of service on my lawn… I have since canceled the service and asked for a full refund

I truly can’t believe they are still in business!! Hired them thinking I can save some time over the season. I would love to test their product, I am convinced they are spraying water. My lawn never looked so bad last season when they took care of it. Nothing they put down is granular, It is all by spray. Actually had one of the guys that came out told me they ran out of their popular lawn weed killer (honest employee). He told me most of the facts I am stating so take it how you want. Then in order to keep his job he sprayed my yard anyway, clearly just water. Use someone local you can trust, PLEASE. All they want is a contract with a payment method.

TruGreen Danbury completed destroyed a large portion of my lawn due to overtreating for crabgrass. I have made numerous calls, of course only getting through to the call center. I was assured a supervisor would be here on Monday, a technician showed up? Why I don't know, and he agreed my grass was "fried" from too much weed killer. He said I should call the Supervisor, Justin Lucht, I have made several calls, spoken to at least three customer service representatives, and still no contact from anyone at Trugreen, it's now Thursday. A good part of my lawn is burnt from the chemicals. I am totally frustrated at the total lack of concern that they have demonstrated. I am seriously considering putting a sign on my lawn saying, Ask Me About Trugreen! They state that you have their guarantee that you will be happy with the service , which is a complete lie. Not only do I say don't waste your money, but don't let them ruin your lawn and then not give you the courtesy of a phone call.

TruGreen's service and practices have consistently disappointed. As I wrap up my second year with them, I regret renewing my contract, even though I did so with reservations and reduced services. One glaring issue is their insistence on directing concerns to their local office, paradoxically, the very place where most complications seem to originate. The central operations always maintain that local branches will address any problems, but this lack of direct accountability only amplifies the frustration. Their evident strategy of prioritizing customer quantity over quality only leads to a high rate of unsatisfied clients. For peace of mind and a truly thriving lawn, I'd willingly invest more in another service. My sincere wish is that my experience, together with the numerous other negative reviews, will steer potential customers away from making the same error I did.

If I could award a minus100, that would be the grade/ You destroyed my lawn over the last summer, failing to pay attention to weed areas. I have bare areas that are 10 feet square and numerous smaller areas. Finally you told me that you would have a manager inspect on April 13 and when I called to check up said they wouldn't be there till next week. I stayed home losing business waiting for you. Totally unacceptable.

They take your money and never come ! I paid for Core Aeration services back in February, and I still haven't gotten the work done. It is almost November, and I am waiting for Aeration and grass seeding. I live in the Northeast and can't grow grass in the winter. Please don't give Trugreen money until after the service is completed.

SUPERVISED NEGLECT!! I have watched my new sod lawn deteriorate yearly over the past 3 seasons while under Trugreen's care. I pay for every service that they offer in an attempt to maintain my property. Several times their personnel have arrived late in the day and are out of weed control so apply fertilizer only. An appointment is made for them to return for weed control and they don't show up despite their phone app telling you that their employee has arrived and that the service has been completed. I am retired and I was at my property waiting for them so I know that this was a fraudulent claim. I will not be using them again.

My lawn was totally overhauled ( airation/ seeding) last fall. Looked fantastic in the spring- true green has ruined the lawn. Many promises to send a supervisor out- no one showed. Still have yet to receive my rebate for unused visits. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I can't believe TruGreen lied to customers. I am a new customer this year. My lawn got much worse after I started to use TruGreen, full of weeds basically. I called the company several times to complain about the service. Last week I was told that a treatment would be done yesterday. I asked to text me before a technician shows up. I didn't receive any text. This morning at 8:13, I got an email from TruGreen that says your treatment was done. There are no single yellow sign on my property. ( it is required by law to put signs on the lawn if a chemical treatment is done). It is obviously that no one performed service at all. How dare a company does such vulgar thing to its customers. I will not just cancel my contract with them. Trugreen needs to pay the price for the damage they caused.

Run don’t walk away from this company. They killed my lawn with chemicals over a month ago and have promised to come and fix and here I sit still waiting. Their presidents office actually contacted me to help me get this fixed and they are a waste of time as well. With all the competition out there this company should be ashamed of themselves. I had a nice lawn before they burned the entire thing which they admitted to doing and now I sit and wait for them to fix it which I doubt they will. TruGreen should be ashamed of themselves.
