HS drops outs squirting chemicals unevenly across your grass is not a lawn service. My once gorgeous grass is laced with brown spots and algae growing over them. After two months of calling to reach a supervisor and getting return calls and instructions to call back non existent people, a guy claiming to be a manager, sans a business card, came out unannounced about 4 weeks ago and I explained the issues I’d been having and showed him photos of my yard before working with True Green. He promised he’d make things right.

For the first time since signing up I got advance notice of this month’s treatment and made arrangements to be at the property. A tech named Les arrived and sat in his truck for 6 minutes then noticed me watching him and got out, put the sign in the yard and proceeded to get out a wheel barrow. I thought finally they’re actually going to do something they promised. I looked out the window 5 minutes later and he was gone. I looked at my video footage and the guy did absolutely nothing! I immediately called True Green and got a women who kept talking over me and claimed to be having phone issues. I told her what had happened and she said someone would be back in 3 days and a manager would call. I asked her if in her notes she can see comments from a manger who visited my home in early July. She said yes, he wrote he couldn’t do anything about the moss. I said that’s not what he told me and it’s actually algae that was caused by what True Green did. I told her at this point I am going to cancel. She said she’d report the driver to the branch and I said obviously there is no accountability. She said give them a chance to make it right but some how we got cut off.

These people are total con artists and it’s clear their call center reps are working out of their homes. If you’ve already been burned by them please report them to the Consumer Protection Bureau and your state attorney general. Do reviews on every platform and share your experience on Next Door. I wish I’d followed through canceling 3 months ago but they begged me to give them a second chance and said by July my yard would look like a golf course. It already looked like a golf course before I trusted True Green.
