Great facilities. Nice steam room and pool. Big gym with plenty of equipment.

Enjoyed the facility’s and very good pool.
Also liked using the Sauna

I joined this gym (Kidderminster) last year. They put the already steep price up a few months in and based on a lot of lockers/kit is broken, the lack of plates/benches at busy periods and some glaringly obvious kit gaps I decided to hand my notice in on my 12 month contract a month before the end of term to move to a cheaper, better equipped place. I've been told that I must pay 13 months before I can stop - but I signed a minimum 12 month contract? The rep just keeps repeating themselves and cannot explain why they are breaking their 12 month minimum nor can they provide a copy of my contract to confirm that I signed for 13 months. Poor experience.

Haven’t joined a gym like this before! Everyone is really friendly, and it’s always really well looked after - clean, tidy - someone always with a hoover or duster!!

Some of the kit is abit old, and the running machines and bikes etc could do with being replaced, and changing rooms are tired. But what they offer outweighs the negatives - lots of classes you can’t get like hot yoga and meditation, and hip hop step?! The pool and cafe are great. Would be good if cafe opened later.

TruGym committed fraud they took my personal details and used it to create a 12 month contract.
This is the worst gym and I highly recommend you do not sign up it committed fraud against me!. I went in person to sign up to a cancel at anytime membership however I then decided that this gym was not for me so I cancelled my direct debit and the membership however TruGym fraudulently signed me up themselves into a 12month contract! I stated to them I signed up to a rolling cancel at any time membership in person and when I asked the gym associate if there was a cooling of period they said no as I can cancel at anytime. I told this to the manager and adviced him to check his CCTV footage with audio and they will see that I DID NOT SIGN UP TO A 12 MONTH CONTRACT BUT they REFUSED. I also told them I did not receive a 12 month contract or an email stating I was in a 12 month contract because if I had I would have cancelled IMMEDIATELY. The manager Jamie said I should have received the contract via email when I joined but I did not and him and his staff knew it because I called to ask them to forward me the email as I could not locate it in me emails so I asked him to forward me the email the day I signed which was August however there was no email instead Jamie fraudulenty created a new contract and emailed it to me. The contract which was emailed to me I have never seen before I also never signed any induction waiver which he said I should have received. I have emailed them and they have not responded. Now am escalating this as fraud and theft

If you are a business and they ask you to do some work - do not do it. You will not be paid. After constant promises of payment nothing has been paid so we have taken them to court. We are not the only local community moanybthis has happened to.

So cutting long story short. I tried to cancel my membership through their website which isn't easy, no joy. I've sent various emails, no responses. Tried to cancel in time so was within my contract, no response. They have taken money from my bank after I cancelled. I can longer afford to keep my membership. Why is it so difficult, I just want to cancel. The app is useless, keeps saying unable to log in etc. it's exhausting just to cancel. Never again. Not happy

Kidderminster, have the worst, rudest manager I have ever encountered. I paid for a parking permit and was not told it was no longer valid. Got a parking fine and no refund of the parking permit and now Sally Brookes! Manager! I have cancelled my membership! But she is ignoring my emails and charging me extra with additional fees!!! I work in the health and fitness sector and will be telling my clients to go elsewhere!!!!

I challenge the management to check CCTV and they'll see us all waiting (again) outside of the gym well after 7am because the staff couldn't be bothered to show up for work on time (again!).

The one thing that is consistent is the lack of an apology, or a good morning greeting, so I guess top marks for consistency.

Plenty of equipment to use, wasn't too busy and the spa/pool area was clean and tidy.

I was a member a few years ago until I became too ill to go.
I'm a member at Huddersfield.

Laura was so lovely and kind upon checking she still worked there I rejoined.

I don't think I'd have gone back were it not for Laura.
As a big lady I felt comfortable and she put my anxiety at ease.

Looking forward to getting healthier and toning up.
Lovely pool and great equipment.

All the staff are lovely
but the manager was the rudest most condescending woman I’ve ever come across with 0 customer service skills or any understanding of mental health I was treated like an outcast

I joined 12 months ago took my kids swimming loads during that 12 months never was I told kids just have to swim quietly nor have I ever seen anyone else’s children just swimming quietly in 12 months not 1 word I paid £25 for my friend and her kid to come swim I had been the week before they was jumping in and splashing as kids do ..not one word was said (IF I THOUGHT THEY COULD NOT JUMP IN AND HAVE FUN ID SAVE MONEY AND GO TO A LEISURE
CENTRE) when I came this time NOTHING SAID about how kids can’t jump in or anything of the sort took my money and off we went so we did what we always did and all of a sudden apparently people started complaining about the children jumping in the pool ??? And they are not allowed there was another family doing same as my kids and nothing was said to them I have been screamed at by other members in that pool before and I complained nothing was done I have horrendous mental health problems as they are fully aware and it’s never been taken into consideration I was told I need to control my kids by the manager and I should go to a leisure centre if kids want to jump in then tried to make out I was told before when it was me who complained before that I was screamed at in the pool no effort to talk to me I told her no one has ever said I kids can’t jump in or have fun basically or I’d not have paid £25 I said I’ll go then she said yea think that’s a good idea after telling me other people pay a lot of money to come here like I wasn’t a paying member also ? No attempt to talk to me once I was out the pool either so I was singled out and made to feel like I’d done something wrong (that other kids was doing also but they were ok?) when I knew no different as it’s never been said before in the 12 months I was there it’s lead to a severe bipolar episode lastnight which is going to last months as they always do could of been avoided with a simple conversation no effort at all was made to see if I was ok or even a chance to explain myself and the fact it had never been mentioned before and if it had I’d not of paid £25 to go I’d have saved some money and gone to a
Leisure centre don’t seem to understand mental health or care how you feel after she singled me out and made me feel like scum handled really badly the whole situation

I joined earlier this year and to begin with it was great, but the gym equipment isn't regularly maintained which is frustrating when you want to just get on with it. Bikes flywheel not working on 2 bikes, 3rd time lucky. 2 of the rowing machines don't have foot straps for over 2 weeks. Quite often the heart rate monitors don't work so you can't tailor your exercise on the equipment. It's a lovely gym and lots of equipment and classes, very clean and tidy, but the lack of maintenance put me off so I've cancelled.

Good clean gym with lots of options of machines and friendly staff.
The changing rooms and showers are great too!
