The team has been incredible—supportive at every single step of the setup process. Payroll was executed flawlessly, and while we’re still getting into the groove with the credit cards, using the Poodle Card has been a game-changer.

The concept is fantastic and it truly works. I’ve already signed up my second business to maximize the air miles earned on VAT and PAYE payments. While the initial setup requires a bit of a time investment to get everything aligned, it’s smooth sailing afterward. Trust me—it’s a small price to pay to avoid sitting in economy when you travel!

Rude guy called me up. Terrible attitude on the phone. Told me I didn’t seem very excited within 10 seconds. I was excited in the concept but no chance now.

We recently switched our payroll services over to Poodle Payroll. The transition was explained clearly and has been completely effortless, from sign up to taking all our employees information, to how we pay them. It has been flawless. The obvious added bonus is the airmiles you earn on there reward scheme, this again has been explained clearly and the process to have these credited has been super easy.
Our dedicated private client manager Harvey has been amazing. Always on hand to answer any questions or queries we have had - his attention to detail is amazing and his response time is fantastic - quite literally responding within minutes.
I cannot recommend this company enough - in fact our only regret is that we did not make this move sooner

Fantastic experience with Poodle - had the initial call with Mario Rogers who explained the process and it all seemed too good to be true - Free airmiles for money your company is paying out anyway, plus its saved me having to pay my staff individually so there is a big time saving element when reconciling the accounts. Mario has followed up many times and the payment processing team are very quick and responsive to emails, with ZERO accounting errors and 6 weeks in all staff have receive the correct pay on the correct dates - couldnt be happier ~!

Poodle is great for business owners looking to earn Avios/Finnair points through their payroll. If you are paying staff, why not have Poodle handle this and earn point at the same time! Mario Rogers has been particularly helpful throughout the whole process, very approachable and easy to get hold of when needed! Great Service!

Really rude guy called Lucas.

Was interested to find out more information, enquired, was told no hard sell, they wouldn't give me information about the payrol company who would run the payrol, said i would have their KYC at a later date. Couldn't give me any info on whos i would send tens of thousands of £s too.
They add VAT to your payrol and invoice you the total.

Then the fun part, was given major attitude when he rang spontaneously and i said i was not available to speak right now, as i was in the middle of a meeting. He became rude and dismissive, told me he was busy and he didn't have time,when he rang me on spec!

If you have a prospective customer, don't loose the lead over basic Ps & Qs and business etiquette.

Great service from the team at Poodle. Very easy onboarding, very helpful, answers questions quickly and even got their tech team on the call at short notice. Seems great for corporate cards to rack up miles. I've started recommending Poodle to some friends so we can all enjoy some extra air miles together. Really pleased.

There website just goes in circles. Clicking apply does nothing just a type form ai no longer exists error. Seems very shady.

I've been using Poodle for a little over 3 months.
There have been a few changes with them, which have caused a few headaches; however, in the end, I have received my points and have used them. I was initially sceptical, but it seems absolutely fine at this point. It's a good way to extract tax-free value from your business, and so it is very worth considering to use. We have the corporate cards and will be using the payroll services this month, so we're yet to know how it will go. Perhaps I will update this review then. The team are great to deal with and replies to my queries fairly quickly.

I was initially skeptical about Poodle, things that seem too good to be true usually are.
After 8 months of using it for overseas payments and payroll, everything has been smooth and reliable. Dan is always responsive and helpful with any questions. I’ve just booked five return flights to Thailand for my family using my Avios points. Highly recommend Poodle.

Game-Changer for Maximizing Points – 5-Star Holidays Thanks to Poodle!
We’ve been using Poodle for over a year now and it’s completely transformed the way we manage our business spending and maximize rewards.
By using Poodle to pay down our Capital on Tap and American Express cards, we've been able to quadruple the points we earn—literally 4x our usual rewards. It’s made an incredible difference.
So far, those points have taken us on two 5-star holidays to Dubai, including stays at Luxury Collection Marriott properties and business class return flights. One of those trips was even our honeymoon, and the only cost to us was £750 in taxes the trip was £8k at retail price. Unbelievable!
We’ve also enjoyed three luxurious UK hotel stays, including top-tier venues like The Belfry, The Mayfair in London, and a beautiful break in Edinburgh—all paid for with points earned through Poodle.
While pre-paying VAT upfront might seem like a downside, the rewards we’ve racked up in our first year have been worth between £15-20k in free travel and luxury experiences. And honestly, this is all money we would’ve had to pay HMRC anyway, so it’s a no-brainer.
If you’re running a business and looking to make your everyday spend go a LOT further, I can’t recommend Poodle highly enough. It’s a game-changer for unlocking serious travel rewards without changing how you operate.

Managed payroll - Complete joke!

Steer clear. Poodle signed us up for a managed payroll service. They made clear from the outset that it was a 3rd party but assure that they had control and complete trust in them.
3.months of he'll and stresss. They never managed to run one Payroll successfully, they shared other companies Payroll information with us. They failed to upload pension reports, misled us about who would pay NI contributions.
Yes we got some avios points, but at what cost!!!
James only ever responded when he thought a problem had already been resolved with more promises of "it wont happen again", "have some more points" etc.

Steer completely clear.

Ok, I was sceptical at first, reading other reviews, then getting 3 air miles for every pound spent. But…… they do exactly what they say on the tin!!! I put money onto my account, within 30 minutes it’s on the card, then you just spend the money for stock or whatever you use it for. Top up as you go, so if you have an invoice for £5k then put the £5k on your card and pay the invoice, you then get 15k air miles and then rinse and repeat. The air miles then hit your account on the 6th of the following month. Wow 🤩 way better than Amex if you have the funds to pre load your card. Dan is great and easy to deal with, sorts any questions you have straight away. Great card
