Such fantastic service. They were so helpful with the delivery timeframe and did everything they could to help! The items I bought are just beautiful, so well made and look fab in my salon, thank you!

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service,
No response when asking for a delivery date ( for a trunk that was in stock) and over 28days,
Not good enough- you’ve had my money for a month now
PayPal refund raised

Hi Roberta,

Whilst we appreciate your feedback, we can confirm we have emailed and offered you a delivery date, we have again forwarded you this email as your phone number on the account was unavailable on more than one occasion. We do state 4-6 weeks for some pieces of furniture and this is clearly positioned around the website for your perusal prior to ordering. It would have been been better if you had contacted the offices with the number displayed o your emails and order confirmation prior to reporting to paypal, reporting to paypal places the funds on hold so we cannot delivery without payment. We feel that your review is unfair as we have tried to arrange a delivery and you have not responded to our calls or both emails offering a delivery. If you would like to call the offices a member of the team can discuss your order.

Bought two slat back beech-wood Grandad


Bought two slat back beech-wood Grandad Chairs to go in the sitting area of my kitchen.
I have now treated them with a stain wax and they look great.
Not quite as weathered looking as antiques but nevertheless just what I wanted!
Good quality solid beech at a fair price I think.
So a very satisfied customer!

Fantastic customer service

I ordered 2 beautiful bar stools but to my own stupidity I ordered the wrong size! Nothing was too much trouble with Turnbull and Thomas. I returned them and was met with the most pleasant individuals in their team (in particular Victoria & Terry). My refund was given immediately. Fantastic customer service, quick responses to calls and emails. Extremely professional approach which will without question make me a returning customer.

Hi John,

Thank you for your review, It was an unfortunate that you had to wait the full 28 Days from ordering to receive your order, we did reply in email and informed you of this just a few days after you ordered explaining the 28 day wait and also your right to cancel if the wait was to long, you could have cancelled at anytime within this period to obtain a full refund however you did personally choose to wait after reading the email. We have taken on board what you have said and are looking into ways to prevent this from happening again. We do state clear and concisely our terms in regards to the timescales on deliveries, and we ask our customers to read our terms and conditions provided prior to ordering to avoid disappointment and placing a damaging review with the review center.

Product good but delivery appalling

There was no problem with the product I ordered from Turnball and Thomas just the length of time for delivery.
I ordered a console table on the 15th of June and it was delivered on the 5th of July. I called to chase my order on several occasions and was eventually told and emailed advising it had been dispatched on the 27th of June The courier did attempt to deliver on the 2nd of July but we had not been advised of this and was at work. We arranged for redelivery on the 5th of July, took the afternoon off work as was told it would be after 2pm then received a message late afternoon advising that it would be after 8pm at night We paid £20.00 for delivery and I think the service was appalling 12th July 10.29am I have just received a telephone call from Turnbull and Thomas asking me to remove my review as they do not feel it was a true reflection of the service they provide and it was the courier's fault for the delayed delivery. My answer was that I paid Turnbull and Thomas for my product and delivery, I think this is very unprofessional way to operate a business. The gentleman just complained how much he had paid to get the product to Aberdeen and at no time apologised for the inconvenience this had caused or more importantly the loss of 1/2 day holiday from work which was wasted. My understanding was that on Trustpilot you gave an honest account of the experience you had had with a company, this is what I have done.

It was an unfortunate situation in regards to the service of delivery, sometimes this is out of our control as is the case when third parties are involved. We have taken on board what you have said and are looking into ways to prevent this from happening again. Overall, excellent

The delivery was later than anticipated but we were kept updated. Overall a great service - the deliverymen had a very long day, the traffic was hideous and they provided a very good impression. Very happy with the service
