Love love love my turtle fur Sally hat. This hat has a light weight feel but keeps you warm in the coldest of temperatures! Huge fan of turtle fur and can’t wait for winter to get and use more of their products!

The hat I bought is cute, pretty much what I expected. Except, the glaring tag that says MADE IN CHINA!! I had every reason to believe this was going to be a locally sourced product. Had I known I was giving money to help China instead of our own country, I would’ve bought someplace else.

I bought a Turtle Fur hat and wore it for a winter and it was GREAT! One of the best pieces of winter gear I have ever bought. Pulled it out of storage for this winter and it had shrunk to the point where I couldn't even put it on. Never went through the wash, just kind of shrunk over the summer.

I bought a Turtle Fur hat a few years ago, and loved the soft alpaca wool with fleece liner. Unfortunately, I accidentally shrunk it in the wash this year. I was under the mistaken impression that all Turtle Fur hats were made with alpaca wool, so I bought a similar hat at a similar price. The new hat is not made with alpaca wool. It's much rougher on the outside, although the fleece liner keeps it cozy on the inside. I know it's my own fault for not noticing when I ordered the hat, but I'm annoyed that I paid so much for a non-alpaca hat.

I climb mountains on the weekends. I always need a beanie in my gear. I chose Turtle Fur because they look great and are super warm. I wear them on the mountains and around town.
