Absolute scam.. please do not pay registration fees before getting lead..

I paid them @Tutor me 2500 for subscription + GST. After that they called me and told me that the demo with the students will be on Saturday. But that Saturday never came. I have been messaging them continuously since then but they ignore my messages and don't answer.

So they made me waste my time doing the profile page AND an interview and then another interview with the program director. I had to find a job asap and while they made me go through all of that for weeks for the program director to say I couldn’t join because I didn’t have experience when the other people told me I did. Why the hell would I go through all that if they are going to say no. WASTE OF TIME NO CONSIDERATE OF OTHER PEOPLE

The platform is a cheat. They don't allow to withdrawn earned money. Avoid them!

My story is a bit unfortunate with this platform, now called Pear Deck Tutor, formerly TutorMe. I have worked here since 2017, with hundreds of positive 5-star reviews. They interviewed me as an outstanding and exemplary tutor. But suddenly, I received a communication informing me that I can no longer continue working on the platform because they will no longer provide support to tutors in Venezuela. I made it clear to them that although I am from Venezuela, I currently live in Spain, and that they should please reconsider my case. And they have not deigned to respond to my request.
Could this be another case of xenophobia? I am sorry mainly for the large number of students who were left hanging, waiting for scheduled lessons. Hopefully they can rectify this type of inhuman and illogical decisions.

Students expect tutors to do the work for them, write their essays, answer their multiple choice questions, and read and summarize their texts. If you don't, student give the tutor a terrible review and at times will even report the tutor. I have had students violate the academic honesty policy again and again, blatantly asking me to do their work for them, but they are allowed to continue to use the platform and terrorize tutors. I've had students swear at me, call me names and berate me because I wouldn't help them cheat but no actions are taken against the student.

They are obsessed with degrees. I have 20+ years of experience, 5 star rating in other mentoring platforms, but they don't let me do an interview just because I dropped college when I was a kid because of personal reasons.

My mentees are really happy with me. Their loss.

I've just checked if there is a scam for this number. One with the same number +91 89204 27255 called me and messaging me continuously again and again by giving an opportunity of salary 20k per month.
By God's grace, I came to see these reviews.
Actually, please think that none of any genuine teaching platform will not force for payment.

I was contacted by a certain Tutorme India by the no. +91 89204 27255. They contacted me in March 2023. And this number guy was in a hurry to schedule the demo class, and said before that I need to do registration, need to pay certain money based on commission and non commission plan. I said i need to go through reviews. I just cant do things in a hurry wen u say. I too hv my schedule and finally i said no in March. And then this guy contacted me in April. I saw the reviews, it was exactly the same pattern he narrated for tutorme. So i thot to pay. I paid 1875 rs den he said I need to pay total 2500. So again I paid remaining via qr code sent by them. After dat no one replied. When I dialed number, it was coming doesn't exist. The person who contacted me was online most of the time but never replied to my later messages so he /she must be trapping others.
A big fraud. Don't fall for it....

Tutorme please take a legal action against them ASAP.

Scammed really bad. Lost 2500 rupees. I have all the evidences and will move legally.

I was scammed worse. Got money and not available now. They sent forwarded texts and cheated.

I had a terrible experience with Tutorme, specifically with the operator Nicole. She completely ignored all of my lesson feedback and created a not-so-welcoming environment for students with ADHD. Direct quote from her was "little to no student engagement", which in turn penalized students for trying to work out problems on their own first. Furthermore, Tutorme has been taking my money by rounding down the payable tutoring minutes. I have screenshots of the lesson feedback and recording of their timers, and from the years I have worked here, they have stolen so much money and time from me and all the tutors. I would highly encourage all tutors to report this issue and get their money back. It's a shame because Tutorme could be a great resource for students, but with operators like Nicole endorsing cheating and not treating students with respect, it's not worth it.

This is a fake site. They take money and after that they stop to give respone. Don't trust them and waste your money.

Where to start?... I would say 80% of the tutors at TutorMe do not take into account your learning style. They push the lesson down your throat at their pace, not yours. I've been ignored repeatedly when I asked questions, and I can't emphasize enough that they just do their own thing with no regard for you.
Also, you're lucky if you can find a tutor. You wait, and you wait, and then you wait some more...
Now I want to justify the one star that I gave, so I'd like to say that I HAVE come across a few good tutors. They were helpful, patient, and worked with me in my learning style. But by far most of them will be doing something else while they're supposed to be working with you. Overall, I find this a very poor experience with regard to education.

I started tutoring on here about 1 month ago and have been able to log on and have students come to me regularly for help! I can set my own schedule and the Honor Code on here is strict to maintain great academic integrity!

Tutor me has helped me a lot with school. The tutors on the site breakdown the concepts for me, and make sure I truly understand what their explaining. Tutors for every subject from all around the world can be found onTutor me.
