Great camera at a great price

Onduidelijke instructies bij het product. De reset button zit vrij toegankelijk voor elke passant.
Eenmaal geactiveerd, de Tuya app is een totale chaos aan instellingen, vage knoppen, menu's in menu's, verborgen in sub menu's en het werkt niet consequent. Wie bedenkt en maakt dit soort apps? Totaal incompetent.
Een regelrechte miskoop.

Tuya was taking around $38 per month and when I queried advised me I have multiple accounts that I wasn’t aware of. Where is the customer service advising me of this. They just keep taking $.

Not easy to connect to the network but when I finally got it to work it then won’t keep a library on the SD card and wants to sell a subscription. The battery charge only lasts for about 6 weeks never mind the six months that was implied when I bought it.
I’ve now replaced it with another type of doorbell from another manufacturer.
In summary not easy to set up, customer support woeful, battery duration poor and operation rubbish. It gets one star as I can’t give 0. Wouldn’t touch thus with a barge pole.

I had a Ring for years that eventually gave up.
This doorbell is the worst money I have spent (which I think was £75)
Never connect, Never on line. A battery with a life of an icecube in a hot day.

App is ingewikkeld. Moeilijk installeren. Valt steeds offline. Knop reset snel kapot. Je moet het steeds opnieuw installeren. Ik heb er helemaal niks aan gehad

Useless camera even though they claim the battery lasts for 2/3 months it doesn’t even last for a whole day

I’m being kind at 2 stars. Constantly disconnecting from the router. Very unstable. Nice when they work but plan on screwing around with them a lot to get them to work.

The most apalling app and camera I’ve ever come across won’t pair or connect camera keeps beeping I’ve tried everything and been in contact with the Tuya app no reply or solution my only advice save your money appalling rip off

Na zakup bezprzewodoego dzwonka zdecydowałem się po przeczytaniu kilku pozytywnych opinii. Z perspektywy czasu uważam, że były one wystawiane przez opłaconych ludzi ponieważ w rzeczywistości jest to "kupa szmelcu"! Łączność beznadziejna. Nigdy nie udało mi się odebrać połączenia ponieważ nikt nie był w stanie tak długo czekać pod drzwiami. Serwis konsumenta jest jeszcze gorszy. Próbowałem oddać dzwonego w ciągu 30 dni od zakupu ale odbijali piłeczkę tak długo że się poddałem. Nie warte nawet za darmo bo nie spełnia swojej funkcji.

As a retired software developer I got a buzz when my fan switched on based on parameters I'd set and readings from a £45 air quality monitor. But that was the my last positive feeling.

"Scenes", where parameters are set, only trigger about half the time; and often disappear from the App altogether. I believe one of the problems is that the app cannot handle two triggers happening closely together. To test this I breathed on the Air Monitor to raise CO2 levels and the fan switched on (good) but within 20 seconds the monitor was showing normal CO2 but the, "CO2 back to Normal", scene did not trigger, and still hadn't 30 minutes later. I disabled and reenabled that scene and it did trigger - so it wasn't an error in my parameters. It seems it had missed it's opportunity to trigger.

I spent £60 on an air monitor a couple of smart plugs, neither of which have any function outside of the Tuya world. But my inconvenience, confusion, frustration and eventual anger will stay on my for a long time after I've forgotten about the money.

Finally, to those concerned about China using their technology to steal our information, please don't worry - they clearly lack the programming skills!

P.S. A word about environmental monitoring devices. Temperature and humidity monitors can be both cheap and effective, but mine, which cost only £45, claims to monitor 15 things, or £3 per sensor including amongst other things

- Toxins (VOCs) from paint/glue
- Air born dust that gets in our lungs

These things require specialist individual devices, and any device costing less than £150 that claims to measure VOCs, or less than £300 that claims to measure dust particles is just guessing; and is a scam.

Terrible the doorbell itself is horrendous it's the size of a brick,chime does not work total waste of money all round don't waste your money

Very disappointed with this door bell a total waste of money.

I am having to keep resetting to get it to work, I am planning to remove and putting an old push button bell again.

Unfortunately you have to award a star value personally I do not think it is even worth 1 star. This review covers the Tuya Smart Home Video Doorbell.

Good points - None piece of rubbish
Bad Point - User manual in Chinese
Impossible to understand instructions as they refer to going into pairing mode but doorbell has nothing to enable this to be done. Manual says press the button do that and the doorbell rings. Other options included hold the button down until it goes red just goes blue for about 10 seconds then goes off.

As I said at the start this is rubbish do not purchase I will be chasing up a refund as it is so bad.
