Very easy to deal with, good advice, quick reliable service

Apart from some problems with the online signature of the final form (resolved by you), everything was straightforward.
This contrasted massively with my experience of a competitor who pestered me (and my wife) with frequent calls and an avalanche of emails

We received an unsolicited call in July 2026 offering a cheaper energy deal (for a deal already done?). A contract was e-signed the same day by a third-party site administrator who had no authority to sign for the company.

Our meter was already renewed with the same supplier for the same start date. That renewal had been confirmed in writing three months earlier and was nothing to do with UCR. The switch was cancelled as “In Contract”.

UCR then invoiced us £500 under clause 15 of their terms and threatened legal action. Their own paperwork shows their total commission on the deal was £53.46. (In our opinion a very suspect practice, ill leave the reader to decide?)

In our opinion, a broker that holds a Letter of Authority to check your contract dates should do that before selling you anything. We also think charging nearly ten times the lost commission is unreasonable. One has to ask what was the motive giving the information available to UCR.

Our advice: don’t agree to anything on a cold call, and read clause 15 before you sign. Dont give in, fight these practices with the complaints bodies.

A great service over many years. Easy to renew our contracts as UCR track for us ans call us when renewal is due. Takes all the hassle out of the process and gets us good deals. We have been satisfied customers for many years with UCR.

My account manager Kabeer was very helpful in finding two energy providers (gas and electricity), for the best price that the company I work for needed to pay.
He rang and emailed me to give the information I needed in a timely manner.

Would never use this company again. Misleading and liers. Signed me up to a very high tariff and told me I was getting the best deal. Ive been fighting a battle now since may. Ucr consultants as done nothing to help me. Ive had to take it up by myself with the company they set me up with. Its been very stressful so please dont use ucr consultants youll get scammed
