Advancing the health of animals with those who care for them every day, so we can all live better together. This is our purpose. Established by vets, dedicated to animal health In 1968, Pierre-Richard Dick, a vet from Nice, drew upon his training at the Pasteur Institute, an internationally renowned centre for biomedical research, and founded Virbac. His desire was to provide vets, farmers and pet owners worldwide with a set of innovative solutions to fight and protect against animal diseases. More than 55 years later and we remain an independent business. Supported by a team of in-house vets, we're moving forward together to shape the future of animal health. As animal health experts we know that nutrition is a pillar of preventive medicine and an essential means of ensuring good pet health. So, our vet nutritionists formulated VETERINARY HPM® to be high in protein, low in carbohydrates and packed with nutritional benefits that promote the health and quality of life of our pets. Our range of dog and cat healthcare products provide owners with solutions for their pets' everyday needs. Whether itâs dental care, joint support, hygiene or calming solutions, weâve got you and your furry companion covered. We donât just talk a good talk, our products are award-winning too!

Food came fast but foreign object in food.
Food came fast. But I found some organic matter in the food â perhaps a rats tail or a dried slug. Sent message to Virbac on got a very negative reply.
As the food is highly recommended by my vet I will continue to purchase, customer treatment was not perfect.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so glad to hear that your vet recommends our food, but we are deeply sorry for your recent experience. Customer care is immensely important to us, and we apologise for any frustration caused.
As soon as you contacted us, your email was passed onto our technical advisors who reviewed your images. While the item was identified as a slug, our manufacturing records confirm this batch was produced in June 2026 under strict quality protocols.
Given the time elapsed since production and the fresh condition of the object, our findings indicate that it entered the packaging post dispatch, rather than during manufacturing. As a result, we are unable to take further action.
However, we truly appreciate your continued trust in our product and your honest feedback.

Simply put this is an Excellent qualityâŠ
Simply put this is an Excellent quality product with great palatability! having searched for years for a hypoallergenic cat food to suit my now 17 year old female cat diagnosed with IBD a decade ago, Virbac Hypoallergenic Hydrolised Novel Fish Protein Cat Food A2 is the first "hypoallergenic" food to have made a significant difference to her condition and wellbeing. She's been on Virbac Hypoallergenic since June so it's still early days but we're extremely hopeful for long term improvements in her health and general quality of life. I'm also very impressed with the speed of dispatch as after placing my order it arrived the next day well packaged and in great condition. Thank you Virbac for giving our old lady her health and quality of life backð.
