Unsatisfactory business practices. They impose a time limit on the pages you buy, which reflects poorly on their customer service. Once you've utilised the service, the cost seems inconsequential to them. It feels as if they've taken my money without fair value in return.

This plagiarism checker lacks accuracy as it fails to acknowledge that plagiarism can originate from multiple sources. I asked for money refund and this company's behavior was utterly absurd.

Waste of money. Doesn't detect anything. Of course they don't tell you they only check against open access sources in advance. No refund either for doing nothing.

One of the worst plagiarism checkers. First off, they are so expensive. They call it as free but when you try to use it, it doesn't show anything. Secondly it would even show references as plagiarized. How is it possible?

Do not trust! their platform is faulty and doesn't detect similarities. The customer service was also rude when I mentioned it

Bunch of things. For starters, with a Personal account you can't do Side-by-Side comparisons. Fine, fair enough. But then when I took a close look at the report turns out it missed over 50% of the items that were copied directly from a wide variety of business news sites. For each of them, pasting the text into Google brought up the page in the first result. When I enquired with customer support, the explanation was: "Our system uses Bing search engine, unfortunately some texts are indexed in the Google only". Um, ok. Yeah. I think that pretty much says it all.

When I asked about a refund I was told: "Our service is non-refundable. It’s stated in our customer agreement which you had opportunity to read and agreed while creating an account."

Guess I missed the part about their reliance on the Bing search engine.

Use at your own risk.

UPDATE: After saying goodbye to my $10, I tried the same doc again on Scribbr. Yes, it cost $20. That's why I went with Unicheck in the first place. But let's just say you get what you paid for. Scribber found at least 2x as many items that were copied from websites. Also, I went for it because, unlike Unicheck, they had a 100% Happiness Refund guarantee. So there you go. Good luck.

This plagiarism checker is not efficient, at least for me. Because why will it rate my assignment with a 1% similarity score and then my school runs it on turnitin and it churns up 35% based on comparison with internet sources.
Unicheck just isn't doing well.

Hey, this service is probably great, if all of your sources are websites. Since you can't try out the service before sinking money into it, you will spend some to find out whether it works for you.
For me, it miss-identified a basic McLuhan citation, and failed to recognize any in text citations from book sources in the Chicago Full-Note format. It even suggested, the title of an in-text citation to be plagiarism.
The thing is, with a limited number of pricey tries, the amount of iterations to figure out how to get a decent result should not be put on the user! Particularly, with plagiarism testing, the tool should hopefully over-and not underreport, but by not recognizing any book publication prior to 2010, this seems like a big risk.
It honestly seems like you are paying for a very baseline service, a sort of feelgood expenditure.
While the support responded quickly and kindly, apparently not providing refunds is part of their business model.
I am genuinely curious why this software has so many good reviews here.

Edit: I just read some more reviews, and I am not sure why, but most of them are one- or two-liners from the 20th to the 30th May 2020. That is a little odd, and maybe presents something for Trustpilot to look into.

Le doy una estrella porque no se puede dar 0. Compras 50 páginas y resulta que cada página ellxs la cuentan como 250 palabras!!! como una cuartilla de página. Timo total y absoluto. Deberían cobrar por palabras entonces y no por página, hace que sea un engaño. No puedo estar más disgustada ni sentirme más engañada. Horrible. Estafadores.

Queues too long for a paid service, sometimes can go up to an hour which is horrid compared to other paid and even free plagiarism-checkers. Also doesnt accept direct credit card payments, only PayPal. Helpful and fast support team, though.

Uncheck is a good application,it helps me a lot doing my assignments.

Great application to check the copyright of your papers!

Today is my first time using unicheck. I can testify that in comparison with other checking websites, unicheck is one of the best. It is easy to use and able to pick up what other checking sites are not able to detect.

Easy to use but configurations are difficult to acess and use.
Some difficulties to acess or to obtain the report.
