Top Customer Support and a Solid Machine

What made my experience great was the speed and professionalism of the warranty service. After I contacted the company, they responded quickly and organised for someone to pick up my welder directly from my place, which was very convenient.
The repair was completed in less than 24 hours, which is impressive and shows they understand how important it is for tradespeople to minimise downtime. Communication throughout the process was clear, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.
What the company does well is customer support. They stand behind their product, honour their warranty without hassle, and provide fast, reliable service. That level of after-sales support is something I really value, especially after more than 20 years working in the industry.

I was impressed with Unimigs after sales service.
I asked them a technical question and they answered with good advice within 2 days of my enquiry.

The best service and support

Bought a unimig envy 230 and the service and commitment unimig have shown to help me with settings and even the welds I am doing to dial it in with me I couldn’t be happier.

Such a great customer service and support . Very happy with my experience

Gas hose clamp, can't get the pliers on the clamp.

I had a problem about not being able to get the clamp on the back of the welder. I asked about a different clamp. Can use it. Problem solved.

Customer service is easy to reach

Happy with: Customer support is easy to reach and they respond quickly.

Thanks for the review.

In regards to the PAPR battery, our replacement battery is actually one of the most cost-effective options on the market for its capacity and performance. We’ve focused on ensuring it delivers strong runtime and reliability rather than cutting corners on quality.

For the synergic settings on your Envy 195, the two gas options you’re seeing are specific to mild steel, 80/20 and 5/2, which are the most commonly used mixes in the Australian market. If you switch the material to something like aluminium or stainless steel, you’ll see additional gas options appear that are suited to those materials.

Viper Cut 30, CNC Port

Necessary information on the CNC port is not provided in the documentation. As the CNC port was a sales point and a factor in my purchase decision, this did not make for a good out of box experience.

I reached out to UNIMIG and Sarah from customer support was quick to provide a pinout diagram and arrange for their service technician to further assist.

I hadn't received a follow-up on the remaining technical questions, so after 24 hours passed, I prompted Sarah to check on the status. Following this, Petros, the service technician, responded promptly. Petros, was apologetic for the delay and provided all the information I needed.

Sarah also seems to have taken my feedback on customer expectations and overall experience constructively. UNIMIG support has been professional, knowledgeable and helpful; on the support side of things I rate UNIMIG highly.

I would have liked to see either a standard aviation connector used for the CNC port, or a matching plug and cable included, as the correct plug alone appears to cost over $50.

I have not yet tested the machine, but aside from the documentation issue, everything now appears ready to go.

Overall, if the machine performs as expected, I will be satisfied. I think it looks like a good product for its price point and should meet my needs for a DIY CNC plasma table.
