The worst bank of all time. Multiple times that they debited amount during online transactions/transfers and will take almost forever to resolve. They kept on saying it will be resolved within 24-48 hours but to no avail. Given that I already physically visited their branch.

UBP is probably the most incompetent bank there is. They never fail to have unscheduled maintenance activities EVERY payday. They only take your money but do not invest in tech improvements to serve their customers better. BEWARE of UnionBank of the Philippines!

I have been trying to contact customer service for almost a week but to no avail, you have this chat bot where we are asked to put our detailed concerns but itâs not working. I am trying to unlock my online banking and I cant as I am not able to receive an otp through my registered mobile number. I have opted to set my account to âgenerate my otpâ and aI cant receive my otp to unblock and change the settings.

Super Bad Service
I went to their Alimall branch earlier today to ask one quick question. Waited for a long time and 7-8 people was served first, though they came later than me. A certain "Carlito" was attending the queue and he was always prioritizing those who came after me. I was asking to speak with their Manager but they won't allow me.

The guards were accommodating and guided us on what to do. But, we left after an hour and a half of waiting. (my wife and I wanted to open a joint account.)
Their automated queueing system is useless. Anyone can click on "Courtesy Lane" and gets prioritize. The people at the counter is ok with this modern style of "singit".
"Sayang naman nasa harap ko na..." mentality of the people at the counter.
No matter how sophisticated the system or how simple the process is, it will not be successful if the people using it does not use it the way it was intended to.
Poor Programming and Poor Customer Service
The ATM had an error and did not dispense money but my account was deducted and it happened noon time on a Friday. I emailed them 2 times and sent 1 message on their "Contact Form" on their website and they replied after 7 hours.
Turns out, nobody is going to work on your concern on a Saturday and Sunday, so, if that's your last money left on your ATM, you will suffer for their inadequacies and lapses. You need to wait for Monday. What a waste of time. I hope this won't happen to anyone.
